▪︎After school and tutor class▪︎
▪︎Taehyung's POV▪︎

"And that should be good. Great job, Jungkook. Just remember to revise your essay when you get home, okay?" I instructed him as I cleaned up the desk we worked on.

"I will! Now come on, let's get going!!" Jungkook cheered excitedly, grabbing my hand and dragged me downstairs.

"Remember, only an hour." I reminded him as we headed outside.

"Oh, where we're going, you won't wanna leave." Jungkook declared with a grin, opening the door and sitting in the driver's side.

I gulped nervously as I got in the car as well. "Don't break my car, will you?"

"Tae, I'm a professional at drag driving, I can drive your car." Jungkook stated, his words not reassuring me as he drove off.

Fortunately, Jungkook drove pretty well, sometimes he sped up but the car never protested.

"Alright, you gotta close your eyes now," Jungkook ordered.

I shook my head, yet nevertheless closed my eyes. "You better not be kidnapping me."

"You wish~" Jungkook teased, my cheeks flaming red at his comment.

"S-Shut up and drive!" I shouted in embarrassment.

"Isn't that a song?" Jungkook chuckled.

"I don't know, and it doesn't matter." I pouted, only seeing darkness and hearing Jungkook's soft breathing.

It wasn't long before I felt the car stop, alerting me we had arrived at our destination.

"Okay, keep your eyes closed," Jungkook said as I felt him leave the car.

"But, how will I see where I will walk?" I questioned once he had opened my door.

"Don't worry, I'll hold your hand." Jungkook replied, and before I knew it, his warm hand laced mine and he pulled me out of the car.

My eyes squeezed shut as I hesitantly tapped the rough concrete ground.

"Let's go," Jungkook spoke in front of me, his hand tugging me forward slowly.

"You better not make me run into a pole, or I swear--" I yelped in fear as my foot hit a rock, making me trip.

I could feel my body slip, my limbs tightening in the process, waiting for the pain I would soon feel.

But it never came, all I could feel was two strong arms holding me up.

Jungkook chuckled lightly. "See? I won't let you fall."

I scoffed gently, straightening my posture. "It's still scary."

"Just trust me," Jungkook said softly, his presence was maddening.

I tried to ignore my pounding heart and flushed cheeks. "I will..."

"Good. Now let's keep going," Jungkook stated as he directed me carefully to wherever we were going.
