Nagpupunas si Helen sa kaniyang silid nang biglang tumunog ang kaniyang cellphone at ang tawag ay galing mismo sa kaniyang boss.
Agad niya itong sinagot at binati si Mr. Red gamit ang malambing niyang boses.
“I need you to pull out in your mission,” putol ni Mr. Red sa kaniyang pagbati.
Umawang kaniyang labi mula sa sinabi nito. Hindi niya inaasahan ‘yon.
“Why? Why all of a sudden?” she asked.
“It’s too dangerous already, my favorite agent.” sambit nito sa malumanay na boses. “I don’t want you to get involve anymore. The longer it goes on, the more dangerous it becomes to your situation.” paliwanag nito.
Helen heaved a sigh. “I’m on a mission, I wouldn’t expect that there’s no danger at all. My mission is almost half-way. I need to finish this. I was just given a short period of time.” giit at paliwanag niya.
“Agent Dekemvrios－” pinutol niya ang sasabihin ng kaniyang boss.
“I won’t stop this mission until it is finished. Until I have the information with that Greek Mafia boss.” malamig na sagot ni Helen.
“This is dangerous, Helen,” matigas na sambit ni Mr. Red. “We should let the police handle this.”
“I’m safe, I play safe, Mr. Red!” Helen snarled.
“I shouldn’t join you with this, you’ll just risk your life and you know that…” Mr. Red paused, didn’t know what to say.
“What, Mr. Red?”
“—I can’t lose a secret agent that is someone like you…” Mr. Red’s tone was a bit sad.
Helen heaved a deep sigh once again. Pinatatag niya ang kaniyang sariling desisyon.
“You can’t lose your favorite agent, Mr. Red. I did this a lot of time. And I never fail any missions I am tasked for.” Helen burst out. Desidido na sa kaniyang desisyon.
Mr. Red on the other line, shot up his brows, feeling annoyed as he felt something wrong.
“Are you in love with that Greek Mafia boss, Amalthea Helen?”
Kumunot ang noo ni Helen. Lalo lang siyang nainis.
In love… who wouldn’t fall for that Greek God?
“I’m not. Drop it, Mr. Red.” She blurted, coldly.
Tiim bagang lang siyang naghihintay ng salita mula sa kaniyang boss ngunit hindi na niya ito narinig kaya ibinaba na lamang niya ang tawag.
Ipinagsawalang bahala na lamang niya ang sinabi ng kaniyang boss at ipinagpatuloy ang paglilinis hanggang sa bumukas ang pinto ng kaniyang silid at iniluwa roon si Alexander.
“What are you doing here?” she asked, shot up her brows. “You weren’t here for two days right?” tila asawang nagagalit si Helen sa kaniyang boss.
Alexander laugh. “I want you to come with me,” he blurted.
“Where to?”
“Just around Greece,” Alexander replied.
She shook her head. “No. Just go alone and don’t drag me－”
“Then I’ll stay here, though. In your room, perhaps.” putol nito sa kaniyang sasabihin.
