I open the door to the car Wednesday told me to look out for, I guess she knew that coffee boy was gonna come. I get in and see Enid and coffee boy looking at me and C/n in confusion. "I thought we were going on a girls night out" Enid says. "I thought we were going on a date" coffee boy says. This is funny. "What the fuck? I thought we were going to the club?" I add trying not to laugh. I elbow C/n to continue. "Wait what, I thought we were gonna go to the daycare" he states. I facepalm. "It's night time you idiot" I whisper. "He just ruined the whole thing" I sigh.

We go to this spooky abandoned house. We go in and look around for anything that could get us a better lead on this monster. After a bit of looking we found this secret door thing that led to this spooky ass witch shit.

"Let's split up, we could cover more ground" Wednesday speaks up. "No, we are in a spooky house that probably has a monster in it, and you want to split us up?" I question her. "We could cover more ground, the faster we work the faster we get out of this place" she states simply. I hesitantly nod. "Me and Enid will check upstairs, Tyler you go with Y/n's little cousin, Y/n you go check on the other side of upstairs" she says. "Hey, I wanna go with C/n" I say. I have to watch after him, no offense but I don't really trust a normie with my cousin in a haunted house. "This way we can get this down faster, you can work fast by yourself, C/n will only slow you down" she explains. I look between C/n and Wednesday. "It's okay Y/n, I got this" he gives me a thumbs up. I nod. "Coffee Boy, Watch After him, and if anything happens do not let him out of your sight" I tell him. He nods.
Than we split up...

Timeskip

I'm looking in the back of the hallway, looking to see if anything could be hidden. I hear this noise downstairs, but I don't think nothing of it. A few seconds later is when I regret everything. "Guys it's here?" I hear coffee boys yelling, he than screams as I assume it scratches him. Oh no! C/n! "C/n! C/n! Are you okay down there?! Get out of this house now!" I yell out. No response...

I see this shadow on the wall right in front of me, the monster, it's here...

I stay quiet as it doesn't see me, it runs straight to Wednesday and Enid as they run and draw the attention. I go downstairs to look for C/n since he didn't answer me earlier. "Y/n" I hear a voice say weakly. I turn in tears as I recognize C/n's voice. "C/n! Why did you wanna come here with me?! Look at you now! What am I gonna tell your parents?!" I yell out to him in tears. I hear a growling behind me, I look to see the monster. "Y/n... I'm scared... I don't know why I wanted to come... but I wanna go back now" he cries out to me. I hug his head. "Your gonna make it back I swear" I soothe. "Sorry you ugly bastard, but I don't have time for a rematch!" I yell at it. I grab my cape and pull it off revealing my wings. It gets ready for an attack.
Stupid ass monster, I just told it I didn't have time for a rematch.

"Wednesday! I'm sorry but you have to do this on your own! C/n's badly injured! He has wounds that are bigger than mines were! If I don't check it out than he's gonna die!" I yell out. I flap my wings blowing everything out of the way, the monster stays put in its spot. I have no time to look for coffee boy, C/n is top priority, even if it costs me my secret. I make a break for the door and as I make it outside Wednesday and Enid look at me. Enid looks shocked as she sees me without my cape on, but more about the wings than the cape. Wednesday nods as she looks at C/n. I fly off towards the school.

Timeskip

As i fly closer to the school I go towards the area my dorm is at, trying to spot out the window. I see it, the lights are on, good. I land outside the window, knocking on it continuously. C/n looks out the window confused to see me. I guess he didn't notice his little brother in my arms. "Y/n? Am I gonna die" C/n asks. I shake my head at him with a smile. "No no, your not gonna die, if I can look at your wounds, than you'll be fine okay?" I calm him down. He looks to see C/n not noticing him. He weakly lifts up his hand and places it on the window, slowly starting to leave some blood on it. C/n widens his eyes looking down at his younger brother. He slides the window open, as I go in he closes the window behind me. "Y/n your wings!" He whisper-yells. "My secret isn't of priority right now! Get me a the medical supplies now!" I yell at him. He nods running off.

"Oh. My. God" I hear Ajax say. "Ajax I can't explain right now just help me! Please!" I yell still looking down at C/n. My wings being so big and spread apart that he can't see C/n laying down on the table. He moves to the side to see what I'm looking at, eyes widening as he sees C/n on the table with huge wounds across his chest. "Woah! What happened?!" He rushes over. "Not now, just focus on fixing him up, I'll explain everything later" I state trying to stay calm. C/n runs back with all the medical supplies he could. "C/n listen to me this is gonna hurt really bad okay? But it will clean out the wound" I say putting some rubbing alcohol on a rag. He shakes his head. "C/n hold his hand, Ajax grab me another rag to put in his mouth" I order. C/n grabs his brothers hand, looking terrified at his younger brother. C/n looks back up at C/n. "C/n, I'm scared, what if this goes wrong and I never get to see mom and dad again?" He cries out. "Hey hey hey? C/n, your gonna be fine okay buddy? Just listen to Y/n and squeeze my hand when it hurts" he soothes his little brother. Ajax comes back with a rag. "Here, bite down on this" I say putting the rag in C/n's mouth. I grab his other hand. "Okay this is gonna hurt, but I promise this will make you better" I say. He nods. I dab the rag lightly onto his wound.
.....Muffled yells
C/n's muffled yells...

It's all my fault, I should've stayed by him.

Timeskip

We finished taking care of C/n's wounds, he's passed out on my bed from all the pain. We didn't have anything to knock him out, or to numb him. So he felt it all...

"So tell me, what happened" Ajax states sitting down on his bed. I look at both C/n and C/n. "What do you want to know first?" I ask looking down at my feet. I'm sitting on the table, too ashamed to even look up. "Y/n look at me" Ajax says. I slowly look up to him with tears in my eyes. His eyes go from stern and intense, to soft and empathetic. "Tell me how he got like that" he says patting the spot next to him. C/n comes and sits down on the other side of me to listen in, because he too was curious. "I don't even know why I let him go off with that normie, he told me he could handle it and he was close to the door so if anything happened he could run away, but then the monster struck, and I didn't even hear the door open" I explain in tears. Ajax gabs my hand and rubs it. "The normie yelled out that the monster was in the house, I called out for C/n and told him to run, but he didn't answer me, I was hoping he left already but I went to go look just incase" I cut myself off bawling into Ajax's shoulder. He rubs my back. "I didn't even see him, he had to call out to me with all he could, he sounded so weak, I was gonna take him and run back here but the monster came from behind me" I explain. C/n puts his hand on my shoulder. "It tried to attack me, I had to take the cape off, it wasn't just my life on the line, but C/n's too, so I had to make a run for it, I couldn't stay back it was too crowded in that room" I say sobbing. Why did I let him go with me?

"What about your wings? Why didn't you tell me?" He asks rubbing my back once again. "I was keeping it a secret from everyone, only a few people know about it, that being Ms.Weems, Wednesday, and that's it" I say. "My species are endangered, so I had to keep it on the down low, not just for my safety but my families" I say. He nods and hugs me. "It's going to be okay, C/n is one tough little kid, I'm sure he could make it" Ajax says. I nod, knowing that he's probably right. "C/n, call your mom and dad, tell them what happened, tell them that they need to come get you and C/n as soon as they can and take constant care of his wounds" I turn to C/n. He nods taking out his phone.
