"Wednesday girly, how you doing" I say walking up to her and the boy from the coffee shop. "Y/n" she says. "Yes Wednesday" I say. "We need to talk after the carnival" she says. What? I guess it's fine. "Okay?" I say. "Now why did you come here" she says to me. "I came to the carnival to have fun of course" I tell her giggling. "No, why did you come here, to me" he says clarifying herself. Oh that's what she meant. "I thought you'd be with Enid?" I ask her. The boy looks at me and I smile towards him. I wasn't trying to get him away from her, I was just curious. "She walked away earlier and I was already coming here with Tyler" she says in monotone. Prove me wrong, but she scares me sometimes when she talks like that. "Oh okay, I'm gonna go now and explore you two have fun!" I say waving. Wednesday looks at me while the boy wakes and smiles.

Timeskip

I'm running through the woods because I heard the sound of someone screaming, maybe this person needs help. From what I could tell it was a boy, he was yelling out Wednesdays name so I would assume he goes to nevermore as well. When I run through the trees I see a boy on the floor, I look closer and realize that it's Eugene. I haven't talked to him before but I've seen him around. He's that weird boy that got his ass whooped at fencing practice. When I get closer the tree blocking the view of his legs shrinks and I see it. The monster. It starts scratching Rowan as he screams. "Hey! You bitch leave Rowan alone!" I yell making my way over. The monster looks at me and starts running to me. "Oh shit" I say turning around. I reach into my wings and between my feathers I grab a knife. I turn around and I point it at the monster. It stops moving, making small steps to me. "Yeah bitch, don't play with me I know how to cut a bitch" I say swinging my knife around.

All of a sudden the monster charges at me. I swing the knife at its head but it jumps, instead of hitting its face I get its chest. My eyes widen as it pins me down. It doesn't hurt me but it's stares down at me with this scary look in its eyes. It's growls as it drags its claw down to my stomach. It's going to kill me.

Well too bad I'm not ready to die. I raise my hand and vines sprout from the ground pushing the monster back, but not before he scratches my rib. "Shit! Come on you have it in for me" I yell to the monster. Hoping someone can hear me and call help. "Is it because I called you ugly? I was just joking" I tell it. I wasn't joking but hey, it doesn't know that. It growls and make this ear piercing noise. I cover my ears as it runs to me. It gets close to me and it swings its arm at me stomach, only missing by an inch. It's second swing wasn't so good for me though, it's swing leaves another huge scratch on the top part of my stomach and the bottom part of my ribs.

"Y/n" I hear a voice call out. As my vision goes black all I can hear are the retreating footsteps on the monster and the footsteps of a few other people.

Timeskip

"Y/n? Are you up dear?" I here a voice speak up. Ms. Weems? I sit up and look around to see me in my new dorm. "Take it slow, I didn't let them take you to the hospital because of your wings so I took you here" she says. I nod. I stretch out my wings making me look a lot bigger than I actually am. "Y/n dear, please tell me what happened" she asks me. "The monster attacked, duh" I say raising my eyebrows. "Not about that, that much I can tell" she says looking at my scratches. "Oh I got that one while I went to go look for that ugly mother fucker the first time" I say pointing to the one on my arm. "Not that either, what happened between you and Ajax why did you wanna switch?" She asks me voice going soft. Oh, that? "Sorry Ms. Weems but if you wanna know then your gonna have to talk to Ajax about it" I say not wanting to reveal anything. To be honest I don't really know if the nightshades was a school group or not and I don't really like snitching so I won't open my mouth on this even though they kidnapped me.
