Microphone let out a sigh of relief, walking off to talk with Server or something. After the announcement, the crowd began to disperse. A few objects were going to the hotel while some roamed around in groups. They never seemed to stray far. The other groups were doing the same having heard the announcement from their own hosts. However, the group with the backpack seemed to be staying put. Though Guarana could really care less about what everyone does. They smiled, turning to Graffiti. "Hang out time?"
It grinned widely. "HANG OUT TIME!" it exclaimed, throwing its free arm up in cheer. That was when Guarana noticed Graffiti never removed its arm around him. Oh well. He didn't mind at all.
"Hang out time," Guarana repeated with a laugh. "We should take a look around. My skateboard is probably back at the dome so we can't use that. Let's see what we can do here."
Graffiti smiled at them, drawing his arm back and putting his hands on his hips. "Sounds lit, bro! Let's go!" He began to walk in a random direction, looking around as he did so.
Guarana rolled their eyes playfully, following after him. "I have no idea how I put up with your vocabulary."
"We've got a bro bond this close, that's why!" Graffiti snickered, crossing two of its fingers.
"I think I've just been hanging around you too much. Years of friendship is certainly an unhealthy dose of Graffiti," Guarana laughed.
"Oh, you know you love me, dude!" Graffiti exclaimed, punching his shoulder playfully.
Guarana raised an eyebrow as he rubbed his shoulder. "Really? If anything, you're more obsessed with me," he teased. "You're the one that's been asking me to team up during the challenges."
"Can't a dude just want to hang out with his friend?" it huffed, crossing its arms. If Guarana knew any better they'd say Graffiti almost seemed defensive. "Besides, we work really well together! We're an awesome duo."
"Are you sure you're not just saying that to justify wanting to be around me?" Guarana laughed.
Graffiti blinked. "Absolutely not. Anyways!" it exclaimed, shaking its hand. His hand shifted into some binoculars. "Let's scout the area! You're good at that, right?"
"Of course I am," Guarana said, taking his wrist and putting the binoculars up to his eyes. "Don't you remember me sniping during that last challenge?"
"Don't you remember missing?" Graffiti snickered, teasing him.
"Well, I definitely don't remember asking," Guarana joked, hitting him on the top of his head.
"Hey!" it huffed, rubbing the top of its head. "Uncool!"
Guarana just laughed at him. They didn't realize how much they missed this banter between them and Graffiti. When they get back into the competition, he'll take up Graffiti's offer on working together next time. He knew challenges would be better with his friend by his side.
Getting back on task, they scouted around the area. The area was practically featureless. Besides Hotel OJ and a vending machine, there wasn't much to see but a cool view. There were sharp mountains and egg-like... Geography behind the distant forests. Guarana tsked to himself. They should really add more buildings to this place. "You can stop now, dude," he said. Graffiti nodded, shaking his hand back into its normal form.
"So whaddya find?" it smiled.
"A whole load of nothing," Guarana sighed. "Well, apart from the hotel which I'm pretty sure is packed."
"Well, that should be no problem for us," Graffiti smiled. "We can still hang out! There's nothing that can stop us! And that nothing includes this whole load of nothingness!"
