Prologue

Blinding, that was the word that normally describes the rays of light that pierced through the gaps in the blinds. The sun clearly visible against the blue sky. I would be perched on the comfy window seat in my large Royal blue and pearl white themed room. My window looked down on the shimmering sea, waves washing onto the rocky shore. It was the shore, though, where many ships were run aground and many sailors had drowned.

The beach view was quite the sight on a warm summers day. The rippling water licking at the jagged rocks and smothering the sandy shore. Shen you look at the sun reflecting off the water the ocean looks less like water but a shimmery body of jewels. Unceremoniously though, today, instead of the beautiful view of a warm summers day, I spotted a blanket of thick grey clouds floating closer and closer.
“A thunder storm” I muttered a shudder passing through my body.

That was when the door was flung wide open.
“They’re coming for you” Lilliana whisper-screamed…
