Pic from my Raven Cosplay. Did an "anime" filter. I don't think it looks anime, more like a painting to me. I know some people find these filters controversial. I respect that.
My outlook is this: these pics were done professionally and paid for, I am the subject in them, and while I have no ownership of the character, this is a cosplay which I put together for my own amusement. I treat this filter the way I would with a Photoshop filter.
As an artist myself, I find these apps useful. Like anything, these things can be abused, especially when people use a filter like this on someone else's art to claim it as their own. Not okay. Just wanted to assure that these are my pics, my face, professional photos compensated.
