New Beginnings

"Yonomori?" the young man's voice breaks me from my daydream, I look at him.

"Sorry, what did you say?" I smile up at him politely.

"It can't be you... but it is?.... Y... Yonomori?... Yonomori Mitsuha..." I tilt my head in confusion, "My lady and mistress Yonomori..." he bows deeply, I freak out and quickly tap him and tell him to stand up.

"I'm... I'm sorry but you must have me mistaken for somebody else, my name is y/n..." the young man's eyes fill with sadness.

"No... You are right... I'm sorry for troubling you..." he turns and begins to walk about, slumping his shoulders as he takes a step.

"Wait..." I call out to him, he turns and looks at me, "you said you were lost and needed to get ingredients?... I... I could help you... If you'd like?" the young man says nothing but nods, passing me his list.

"Oh... This stuff will be easily collected all in the one shop! Come on follow me~!" I begin walking but he stops me.

"I'm Mizuki... By the way..." I turn and smile up at him, I hold my hand out to him.

"I'm y/n, nice to meet you" Mizuki holds my hand, I begin to blush, "Um... W... Well... L.. Let's get that food..." We walk together holding hands to the grocery store.

~~1 hour later~~

"I'd like to thank you again y/n... for helping me out... It means a lot to me"

I smile up at him, "not at all, I had a great time, and hey, maybe sometime we could meet up again and watch the plum blossoms together!" Mizuki's face freezes after those words, I look up at him worried "Mizuki?"

"You... You like plum blossoms?"

I smile happily and lightly touch a plum tree that is yet to bloom, "yeah, they're my favourite flower, so bright and magnificent..."

"... The plum blossoms are Lady Yonomori's favourite flowers as well..." Mizuki looks down at me, eyes filled with sadness. He clutches onto his shopping bag tighter and bows deeply at me, "thank you for your service lady yo- I mean y/n..." He straightens his back and turns to leave.

I grab his arm, "w-wait Mizuki!" he turns to face me quickly, I let go of his arm quickly "I'm sorry it's just... I needed to find an apartment and I was wondering if you knew of any around this area?"

"Well..."
