JJ's POV:

I was spending the hurricane with Kie and her family. This was going to be interesting. It was quite the experience being on Figure Eight in a kook house for the hurricane. Their lives weren't really impacted at all. They still had amazing meals, electricity, and water. I could get used to this.

Last night, Kie came into the guest room I was staying in. I'm guessing she was scared of the storm. She didn't say anything so I just pulled her into my arms and kissed her head and she fell asleep right away. I just woke up to someone pounding on the bedroom door and I heard Kie whisper, "Fuck"

I opened my eyes and her mom was standing there. This didn't look good. I was shirtless and Kie was laying on my chest. She sat up and looked at her mom and said, "Just leave us alone. Nothing happened, mom"

"Kiara, I told you that you were not to sleep with him under my roof" Her mom said super pissed

"I slept next to him last night. I didn't sleep with him" She clarified

"I don't care.. JJ, you can get the hell out of my house" Anna yelled

"MOM! I was the one who came into his room. He was asleep. He didn't ask for me to come in here. He followed your rule. I was the one who broke the rule."

Kie and her mom started arguing back and forth and I stepped in.

"Kie came in here in the middle of the night. I was asleep and she was just scared of the storm. I knew she was here so I just pulled her into my arms to comfort her and she fell asleep. Honestly, I need you to answer this. Would you rather that I kick your daughter out when she's scared and send her back to her own room where she'd get no sleep?"

Her mom didn't say anything when I paused to let her answer so I kept going, "Exactly. You slept next to our husband last night and that provided you comfort. I love your daughter and I know you're pissed that she's with a pogue, especially because that pogue is me. But respectfully your rule about us not being able to sleep in the same bed is bullshit.

I can't believe I just said that to my girlfriend's mom. There goes any chance of them ever liking me. Kie didn't seem mad about it. Kie got up and she was in a sweatshirt and a pair of pajama shorts. I was wearing a pair of joggers with no shirt and I got up too.

Kie said, "Since you're kicking him out, I'm going with him"

"Kiara, there is still a hurricane happening outside"

"Exactly, so why are you making JJ leave?"

"Because, damn it I wanted better for you. I don't want you to make the same mistakes I made with pogues"

"Oh, so marrying dad was a mistake?" Kie challenged her

"I never said that"

"Well, you implied it. We're leaving" Kie said as I grabbed my backpack and she brought me into her room she packed a bag quickly and we were about to walk out the front door when her dad stopped us.

"Where are you guys going?" Miked asked

Kie explained what happened and her dad said, "I'll talk to her"

The worst part of the storm was over and we left in Kie's house. She kept apologizing for her parents. She looked at me and I said, "It doesn't bother me. I know you love me and that's all that matters. Let's got to the Chateau"

As we drove to the Chateau, we saw all the damage from the hurricane. We arrived and no one was there. I'm guessing Pope was at home and Cleo must have been with him. John B and Sarah probably were at her house. I was okay with that. Kie and I needed some alone time.

The next day, the pogues all came over and we all talked about the hurricane. Cleo was from the Bahamas and told us all these stories about storms she's been through. Sarah has a vacation house there and Kie's been there with Sarah so the girls were busy planning a trip. That left us guys to start cleaning up all the debris laying around outside.

"How'd the hurricane go with your girlfriends?" I asked

"It was great. Cleo got to meet my mom and pops" Pope said

"Same, Sarah and I were alone minus her little sister as the rest of her family is in Europe" John B answered

I told them what happened this morning and Pope looked at me and said, "Out of the three of us, it's funny how Kie picked you and you're the last one her mom would have wanted her with"

"What the fuck is that supposed to me?" I asked getting mad and clearly Pope didn't mean it in a mean

"No, sorry I just meant out of anyone Kie had to pick for some reason her mom doesn't like you"

"Do you know why she hates you?" John B asked

"Guys, my life is no secret here. Everyone knows about Luke and I have quite the history with girls. I wouldn't want my daughter with a guy like me"

"Then why are you with?" John B asked

"Because I don't want to be that guy anymore. I love her"

"Good because if you break her heart, we'll hurt you" Pope said

"Damn right we will" John B said backing Pope up

"Fair enough" I said laughing

We talked about the girls and cleaned up the yard while the girls watched us while sipping on white claws. We took a break and went out on the HMS to cool off. We all jumped in the water and then headed back to the Chateau where there was no power or running water.

So we played a card game and then there was a knock at the door. I opened it up and there stood Hallie.

"JJ" She said hugging me

I didn't hug her back and Kie walked over and I asked, "What are you doing here, Hallie?"

"I love you, JJ.... I miss you... I want you" She said kissing me and before I could even react to the kiss one of her hands was under my shirt and up my chest. The whole thing only lasted around two seconds

"Get the fuck off my boyfriend" Kie said aggressively yanking the girl off of me and slapping her

Wow, Kie was so hot when she was pissed

"Your boyfriend? No, he's my boyfriend"

"I don't think so.... What you just did right there is sexual harassment. I'm a kook, I live on Figure Eight. If you show up here again, I will have you arrested"

Hallie ran off terrified and Kie looked at me. She was mad. Hallie was leaving in her car and Kie said, "I'm gonna go too"

She left the Chateau and I followed her outside and said, "Please don't leave. I'm sorry.. Hallie was a girl I hooked up with when you first went to college. It meant nothing. Kie, I haven't been with anyone else besides you for ten months. I never want to be with anyone else ever"

She looked at me and said, "I'm not mad you were with her. I was with Dylan. We weren't together. I just hate seeing another girl with you"

"Mommas jealous" I teased her and she just gave me that look

"Come here" I said and she walked over to me and I hugged her

I whispered, "I love you, only you, forever"

I kissed the top of her head and I knew we were going to be okay.
