JJ's POV:

So Kie had left for college. She was gone and it fucking hurt. It seriously felt like a breakup and we weren't even dating. Ever since we went on that trip together, I wanted to have a conversation with her but I couldn't.

When she left, I wanted to kiss her goodbye so badly. But our friends were watching and it wasn't going to just be a quick kiss. It would have been with tongue and then I for sure would have cried in front of everyone when she left.

Yeah, so I did cry but it wasn't until later that night when I was trying to sleep. Luckily, Kie texted me that she missed me so I wasn't alone missing her.

I couldn't wait for her to come home for Thanksgiving. It was about three months away. I tried to make the best of it. Kie and I started texting a lot more and she facetimed me to show me her room. Her parents didn't let her bring her car and she was also pretty pissed about that.

It had been a week since Kie had been gone and tonight I was going to a party with the pogues. It was strange, I didn't even try to talk to any other girls. I mainly hung out with Pope.

"You really miss her don't you?" He questioned

"Yeah, I do... And no not just for that. She was my best friend"

"I miss her too" Pope said

It wasn't long before everyone else left for college and it was just me. I was alone. My boss was rarely in as he had a shit ton of money but he came in  today to take me out to lunch. He asked all about Kie and how college was going for her.

I talked to him and he said, "You really got yourself a good one. Don't let her go. You remind me of myself when I was young"

Yeah too bad this whole thing was just friends with benefits. I couldn't tell him that so I just went with it. That night was a Friday night and Kie facetimed me.

"My roommates went to a party but I wasn't in the mood. We haven't talked all week so I thought I'd call you"

We talked for like an hour about things that have happened and she said, "I wish you were here right now"

"I wish I was there right now..." I said then I got an idea

"Are you alone?"

"Yeah, my roommate is spending the night at someone's house"

I told her what we could do and she said, "I'm not having phone sex with you JJ Maybank"

Her saying my full name really turned me on for some reason. I started talking really dirty which she usually hated but she gave in and said, "I'm only showing you my face. Nothing else"

She propped the phone up so I could only see her face and I started giving her instructions on what to do. I was getting hard and I joined her. She seemed to be enjoying herself.

"I can't believe we just did that" She said after we finished

She looked so embarrassed and she said, "You have to promise to never tell anyone"

"My lips are sealed" I said

She ended the call and said she needed to shower. She facetimed me after her shower and she was wearing one of my hoodies.

"I was wondering where that went" I teased her

"Shit.. You totally weren't supposed to see this"

"Relax, I'm not mad. It looks way better on you than it does on me"

Kie and I talked for three hours and then we both went to bed. She told me all about her roommate and her roommate's boyfriend. She also talked about her classes and her new friends. She seemed to be really loving it in Florida. I was happy that she was enjoying it. I missed her a lot and couldn't wait for Thanksgiving.

She had been gone a little over two months and our texting and calls had slowed down a lot. I'd maybe get a few texts every couple of weeks. I understand she was busy but I missed our constant communication. The texts became less and less and she was supposed to be coming home this week.

The pogues all got back today and Kie was supposed to fly in tomorrow. They all asked me a million questions about her and truthfully, I didn't really want to talk about it. She texted me

Kie: I'm about to take off. I can't wait to see you. I'll text you when I land and my mom and dad will probably be crazy tonight because I haven't seen them but I'll sneak out to see you tonight

Kie: I've missed you so much

Kie: Are we okay? I'm sorry school has been insane

Kie: Shit, now I'm blowing up your phone

Kie: Taking off now... Sorry for all the texts

I knew she wouldn't get it as those were sent twenty minutes ago. I texted her back so she'd see if when she lands.

JJ: We are good, I miss you and I can't wait to see you

JJ: I'm sorry I didn't see these messages before you took off

JJ: Have a safe flight

JJ: Shit, now I'm the one blowing up your phone

JJ: For real, I can't wait to see you tonight and not just because of our agreement because I missed my best friend

I put my phone away and enjoyed seeing my best friends. My phone finally buzzed and it was Kie telling me she landed.

"Kie just landed. She said her parents are letting her come hang with us tonight" I announced and everyone was so excited

"You're so gonna bone her tonight" John B said giving me the look

"Hell yeah" I said thinking about her and how much I have missed her. I haven't been with anyone else since the morning she left

About thirty minutes, Kie pulled up in her jeep. She got out and we all ran towards her. She hugged everyone and when she got to me she whispered, "Fuck me right now"

She was so desperate and so was I. We both knew it was going to have to wait. Pope laughed and said, "You two are ridiculous"

"They're in loveeeeee" Sarah said and Kie and I snapped our heads and both told her we were not in love

"No we aren't" Kie said seriously

"Fuck off" I said giving them the middle finger

"He's just horny and can't keep it in his pants" Pope said annoyed and I was ready to fight him

"Guys, we literally aren't even doing that anymore. We ended it after I went to school. I'm actually kinda seeing someone in Florida" Kie said

"No way! Girl, tell me everything!" Sarah said so excited

John B gave me a look like he was confused. I was confused. I think she just said that to get them to shut up but maybe she was seeing someone and that's why she hasn't been talking to me as much anymore
