Steph's POV
I had to leave I couldn't stay with her any longer, doesn't she get that I hate her?! I don't want anything to do with her! She thinks just because we're roommates and all I'll talk to her and be all buddy buddy. Well she's mistaken that's for sure. I don't need useless people in my life. I don't need liars and I certainly don't need fake friends...

I think it's funny how she thinks everything can just go back to how it was but it's not! It never will! I'm over her. I'm over you! Do you hear me! The fact that she thinks I will forgive her for what she did is hilarious. Really is it. Just thinking of it brings tears of laugher to my eyes.

After I left Demi and started walking around and noticed a garage, the banging and clicking made my mind wonder and my foot move toward it. There were other people working on old beat down cars it amazed me.
"Hey there you lost" I turned to the voice behind me and was met with a beautiful pair of Hazel eyes. She gave me a small smile as she waited for my answer "hablas español?" She asked again with that same little smile.
"Si, I mean yea- uh yes I do. Speak both actually" her smile never leaves as I speak.
"Good for a minute I thought I was going to have to use sign language" she laughed causing me to giggle. "Hey you just laughed I think we're moving to fast. I'm Megan and you are?"
"I'm Stephanie but I like Steph better" she smiled once again and shook my hand.
"Nice you met you Steph. What brings you here? Do you build or fix cars too?" I nodded a little not totally lying because I did know a few things Bobby taught me after my father passed.
"Great! Come this way I think I know what kind of car you would like" I followed behind her and went into a different garage, I noticed it was only me in here. "What you think?" I turned towards an old beat up pick up tuck.
"It's amazing" she laughs and flips on a few lights. "It a pretty old one if I'm honest. No one ever seems to get it to work. Hey if you fix it you can have it" my eyes widen. "Yeah that's right you can have it or you could leave it here it's all up to you"
"Thanks" I smiled and watched her leave.
"Just call me if you need anything"I nodded and turned back to the vintage classic. Better get comfy. I took off my shirt leaving me in my sports bra, I popped the hood and took a look. "Wow" I said out loud. The motor on this is perfect, it's a easy fix. I walked around the room looking for tools but stopped when I saw some vinyl albums then a player. I went threw the albums and found "AM" by Arctic Monkeys. I placed it in and "Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High" started playing.
I got to fixing the car right a way while singing along, after about an hour I had done a lot and had to only test the engine but my bladder had a mind of it's own. I started walking back in and passed the music room as I did I heard at same angel like voice sing. I placed my ear against the door and listened closely, I pulled back thinking I heard my name but went back to listening. Then I heard her say.
"Just one last time Steph..."
I shook my head after realizing it was Demi singing I could hear the tears in her voice the deep passion as she sang. Without thinking I walked in running towards her my steps were loud causing her to look back at me. She looked at me with tears in her eyes then her eyes traveled down to my body, wow really? Here I was thinking she was different.
"You don't have a shirt on" she answered like she read my mind.
"Oh" ohh. Really that's all you can say.
"Yeah..." She said standing up.
"That song" I paused and looked around. "Yeah" I heard her say. I turned back to see her hopeful eyes looking deep into mine. "That song is cool" I whispered looking down to her lips then back at her eyes.
No stop. Don't. She hurt you. Don't you dare fall for her trap again.
"Thanks" she whispered snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Yeah... I should go. See you around" I run out and walked the the restroom.
I just can't keep letting her back in...
