Chapter Thirty-One 🦊 Letharia Vulpina 🦊
Nabina pulled into the parking lot of the Hospital to find everything in absolute chaos. An ambulance had crashed onto a fire hydrant which caused a giant puddle of water to grow across the asphalt. In the middle of the puddle sat a live cut wire creating a giant puddle of electrified water.
Nabina, Isaac and Allison got out of the car as the ambulance driver got out, stepping into the water and immediately falling to the ground as he got electrocuted. "Get back! Everyone get back! Everyone get back!" Kira yelled from across the puddle and Nabina took a step forward slightly, making Isaac's eyes widen as the puddle grew closer to them.
"Nabina!" Isaac yelled, pushing both Nabina and Allison out of the way before the water reached his feet. Nabina's eyes widened as Isaac's body spasmed for a moment before falling to the ground. "Isaac!" Nabina yelled, not thinking as she quickly got up and Allison quickly grabbed Nabina's arm before she could try to run over to Isaac.
They looked away from Isaac to see Kira standing in the water, unfazed and grabbing the wire. They watched in shock and amazement as Kira covered the end of the wire with her fist, all the lights around them flickering as she absorbed the electricity. She opened her eyes, looking over at them with glowing orange eyes.
