The audience cheers as I leave the stage and walk down the stairs to find Haymitch, Effie, Cinna and Portia's mouths dropped to the floor. They stare at me.
"You're kidding, right?" Effie says.
"No," I say.
Then I hear Peeta say,
"I've had a crush on this girl for forever and her name is Katniss Everdeen."
"Oou! A love triangle," Caesar says.
The audience cheers.
"Katniss, your boyfriend wanted me to give you this," Haymitch teases, handing me a note.
I know he means Cato. I read the note:
Katniss,
I heard what you said in your interview, I really only cared about the part when you said you loved me. By the way, I love you too. Would you mind spending a day with a Career tomorrow? If you want to, meet me on the roof tomorrow at ten am.
