One Of A Kind (Ajax x M! Reader)

After me and Ajax practice for a while, me realizing I suck at this. We get distracted by hearing Bianca speak up to someone. I make my way over to see the girl I saw with Enid yesterday and Bianca in front of her. "For the final point I would like to invoke a military challenge no masks, no tips. Winner draws first blood" she says looking at Bianca. This catches everybody by surprise, even me. The fencing coach look at Bianca. "It's your decision Bianca" the coach tells her. "Let's see if you bleed in black and white" she says getting into a stance. "Who do you think is gonna win?" I say looking up at Ajax. He looks at me in disbelief. I guess this is serious? Why though? She said first blood not to the death.

     It's been a while since this whole thing started and I'm a really sad to see that Bianca won. I go to follow Wednesday but I'm stopped. "You should stick with me throughout class" Ajax says with his hands on my shoulder. I look around the class trying to see why it's so important that I stay here but I can't find anything. Instead I look around to see a few eyes on me watching my every move with this intense gaze. I don't know all of them but I can identify three ; Bianca, the boy that dumped her, and Ajax. Ajax doesn't have as much of an intense gaze but I can still sense it.

Timeskip

     "Is there something you wanna tell me?" I say going to my bed. After the events in class today I have a feeling their hiding something from me, so I decided to wait till I get back to the dorm to ask Ajax so people won't be around to watch. "No? What are you talking about?" Ajax says closing the door behind him. "Today during fencing class when I went to follow Wednesday, you stopped me and I couldn't help but notice the look you had in your eyes" I say suspiciously. He makes his way over to me and sits down by me. "What look?" He asks. "You had such a tense look in your eyes, almost as if you need to have your eyes on me" I say glaring a bit. I would bring up Bianca and that other boy along with the two other people but that would be going too fast and he won't tell me anything. It's subtle but I can see him tense up a bit, making me squint my eyes. I have to be more careful now. "Come on I think your just delusional, maybe you were imagining things" he says g
Laughing a bit before smiling. He's not budging. I'll try this later, if I push he's never gonna say anything. "Yeah maybe, sorry I'm just too tired" I say shaking my head and smiling. He sits there for a bit. I look over to him. He looks back to me.

     We stare at each other for a bit longer before I snap out of it. "Uhmmm your blocking my way, I can't sleep with you on my bed" I say pointing at my pillow. For a second I swear I see his face go red. He nods and moves to his side of the room.

Timeskip

I wake up to the sun hitting my eyes. I have no idea what to do today, I mean going to class is an option but I don't know it's getting kinda boring. "Come on Y/n get ready school starts in a bit" Ajax says snapping me back. "Debating what to do today" I say simply looking up to the ceiling. "We have school today you know?" He asks. "I don't know, it's kinda getting boring around here" I say tracing my fingers lightly over the scratch. "Don't tell me your going to go out and look for the monster again" he tells me concerned. I shake my head. No, never again that monster is actually kinda creepy so no. "No, probably just gonna skip every class after first I don't know if nothing interesting happens in that class" I say. He shakes his head and walks out.

Timeskip

     I walk into class and find my seat next to Bianca. Out of nowhere she wraps her arm around my shoulder and pulls me closer, she goes to put her hand above my scratch but before I can stop her. Her hand stops and she struggles for a second before moving her hand to a place right below my scratch. This makes me look at her. Does she know? If so, how?

"What are you planning?" She whispers suspiciously. What the fuck is up with these people. First Ajax and now Bianca. I don't even talk to her?!

"Look i don't know what the fuck it is you guys think I'm doing but you guys are starting to get on my nerves" I whisper in a threatening tone.

Safe to say that after that class I don't really think about staying here. I heard that Wednesday has a therapy session today, why not visit her?

I get to the therapy building or whatever you call it after a long walk. I go to walk through the front door but I see a car parked outside with Ms, Weems in it. Shit. "Fuck" I say walking away. I'm gonna go to that coffee place and lay low there. Luckily I came prepared. I look through my backpack and dig through it for the clothes I packed. I go to a public bathroom to change into those clothes and walk towards the coffee place. I walk in and go to get me a F/d. "Hey sorry to interrupt but can't I get a F/d?" I say to the boy at the front. He looks busy trying to fix a machine. "Yeah never mind I'll just come back later" I say walking to a seat to sit down. I decide to rest for a little and when I wake up I hear the sound of an all too familiar voice.
Wednesday

"I can't be bought, so either wait, or find someone else to drive you" I hear a boy say. I look in the direction to see the boy from earlier talking to Wednesday. Looking dissatisfied she turns to walk out of the shop. "Wednesday, girly wait!" I yell out. The said girl turns around and looks at me for a little bit. I walk up to her. "What are you doing here? Don't you have school?" She asks in monotone. "Aren't you supposed to be in therapy?" I ask crossing my arms and raising my eyebrows. She waits for a bit before nodding. "What do you want" she asks. Hey don't be mean like that. "School is boring and your kinda fun in a way. I watched you almost kick Bianca's ass before she kicked yours" I say. "We do not speak of that" she says squinting her eyes at me challenging my next words. Ok ok I get it whatever's. "What you doing? I wanna help, wait is it fun?" I ask her a bit too fast. "Escaping" she replies simply, sitting down on a chair. "Ok let me help, I'm bored" I say sitting down on the other side of her.

"Oh no!" I say a bit too loud. This seems to alert her. "What happened? Are we being assassinated?" She asks standing up. "No! I forgot to get me some coffee" I say standing up. She sighs sitting back down. Probably shouldn't have jumped like that, sorry Wednesday. I go up to the counter to see that same boy from earlier. "Hi sorry I came by earlier to get something but you were busy" I say. He looks at me and smiles. "No need to apologize I was just fixing the machine, luckily that girl over there helped, I couldn't read the instructions because they were in Italian. He says nodding over to Wednesday. "Oh yeah I know her, we go to the same school" I say looking back at him. This seems to catch him by surprise. "You go to nevermore?" He asks. I nod. "Why aren't you in uniform, can't you get in trouble?" He asks curiously. "Oh I changed you see, Wednesdays out her because of therapy, as for me, I skipped a few classes" I say. I know I know, not just a few classes more like 90% or classes, but he doesn't need to know. "Oh, what will you be getting?" He asks. Oh yeah I came here for a F/d. "Can I get a F/d" I say. He nods and goes to make my drink. He comes back with my drink and I thank him then go back by Wednesday. "So, girly what you been up to" I say trying to start a conversation. She doesn't answer me instead looking at my arm. Her eyes widen when they go to a specific part of my arm. Oh shit, the scratch. I forgot that I had it, should've brought a long sleeve. I cover it hoping she didn't actually see it.

"Where did you get that?" She asks. "A bear" I say. Ok this is getting weird. "I'm gonna go back to the school now" I say standing up.
