The Tsahik takes a handful of something she gets out of a jar and rubs it on his leg.

When Jake sees me he signals me to go there and then he stands up.

"Jake... doesn't he need a doctor? the people from the sky type of doctor with machines and things?" I ask in whispers.

"Please hold him still," Is all he says as he walks out.

Tears run down Neytiri's eyes silently. The rest of my cousins are sitting on the edge of the pod, looking at their brother.

I take Jake's place in holding Neteyam down, the moment I touch his skin I hiss a little. He's really cold, even with the blanket on.

Jake comes back after some minutes and I go sit with my cousins.

Kiri still looks a little weirded out at me, but the rest are fine. Lo'ak seems lost deep in thought.

"So that cleans wounds, right?" Jake asks the Tsahik.

"It does, this should keep him from any infections Jake Sully," The Tsahik answers.

He nods nervously.

"Norm and the team will be here in an hour," he says in English to Neytiri.

"Jake-," she whispers in a warning tone.

"He needs it. He does. It's a miracle he still has a pulse, if they can keep my son alive then they can come here," Jake says.

"But she-" Neytiri starts saying but gets interrupted.

"She is doing the best that she can, but this is not something that's easily treated. He needs them," Jake insists.

Neytiri's eyes go only for a second to the Tsahik ones and tries not to be obvious.

"Is Neteyam going to be okay?" Tuk asks in a sad tone.

"He will, okay? Let's all keep our heads up for him," Kiri answers.

I can't just sit here while I watch him laying there so I silently stand up and go look for Miles.

He is surrounded by a few metkayina warriors near the biggest fire, he's down on his knees.

"Can I talk to him?" I ask to the one in the front.

"Only with us here," he says.

I nod and they open the formation a little, enough to let me in.

I get in and kneel the same as him.

"Love, don't do that," he says. I can barely hold my tears and he gets serious.

"Where was he shot?" he asks.

"In the leg. Miles, he's so cold..." I break down and begin crying.

"Show me where," he says.

At first I don't really get it but then I do, I signal to him the part of my leg where he got shot, the upper or mid part of his left quadriceps.

"What are they doing? Is he covered? They need to keep him warm and put pressure on the wound."

"They are and they also put some type of ointment on the wound," I say.

"That's not enough. He probably needs surgery. Have they removed the bullet yet?" He asks and I just- I really don't know.

"I don't know but I heard him say to Neytiri that Norm and orhers are getting here in an hour,"

He shakes his head.

"I don't know if the kids gonna make it," he says in a sad low tone.

"Miles!" I complain, even tho my mind goes back to how cold he felt.

"Try to be positive, still. Jake's a soldier so he probably is doing the best he can and also Na'vi people are stronger." He says trying to cheer me up.

"Can't you do something to help him?" I ask still crying.

"If he needs surgery or something like that I'm afraid no. Let's hope the bullet didn't hit anything vital and they only have to take it out," he says.

"And he'll be fine?" I ask.

He sighs, he looks somewhere else and I can see that he's meditating something, then looks at me again.

"Look, I'm never gonna lie to you so, chances are not so good for him right now. He probably lost a lot of blood and even if everything went down in like an hour... they move the kid from there to here, they've only aplica god knows what to his leg and when Sully's team comes here... it may be too late so. It all depends on time, the type of wound and how the humans can help him" Miles says.

First I'm mad but then I appreciate it. I rather know what the real danger is, than be hoping that praying will keep him safe.

I start standing up.

"Anatuat," Miles says in a sad tone.

"I'm just going to see how he is. If he goes... then at least I want to be there for him, so he knows all his family loved him," I say cleaning a few tears away.

He just sighs and looks at me as I go back to the pod.
