Supper time rolled around and Rouge and i had decided to cook for everyone. It was silent from Mephiles and Iblis so far so we all decided to wait and prepare for their next move, there was no point in finding them. They were probably watching us anyways. Soleanna had its damage from the attack but it was nothing like the city. The city had burnt to the ground. Lava rising from Iblis ruined the ground and the buildings around it, everything was basically crisp.

"Dinner is ready!" Rouge yelled from the living room as her and i set the table. The whole gang scurried to the dining room table as they were all starving. I felt a pair of hands wrap around my waist.

"So what did you cook up for everyone?" Shadow said as he placed his chin in the crook of my neck.
"It's a surprise you dork! Now go sit down!" I said while shooing him away.

Rouge and i brought the food to the table before seating ourselves.
"Ouu my favourite! Spaghetti and meatballs with garlic bread!" Tails exclaimed.
" Chilli dogs would have been better." Sonic joked.
"Shut up you ungrateful rat." I laughed at Sonic and Shadow as they bickered over who was more rat like.

"Now we made supper tonight to get all of us together because we obviously have something very important to discuss.
We need to take down Iblis and Mephiles before this gets out of hand." I said while pouring myself a glass of water.

Silver leaned back in his chair and crossed his arms. "Well you put you in charge? I think i should lead us considering i know the most about Iblis and Mephiles." He said rather annoyed.

I cocked my eyebrow at the hedgehog before crossing my own arms.
"Aren't you new? Who gave you permission to put any input in on this situation?"

Sonic gulped nervously as he watched me get more and more pissed off.
"Now guys there's no need to argue! I think y/n is right, we still can't trust Silver." Amy said trying to clear the air.

"No y/n shouldn't lead, She's stupid and nearly kills herself every time she leaves this house!" Silver yelled across the table.

Shadow quickly stood up out of his chair and got in Silvers face. " Talk to her like that again and i'll chaos blast you so fucking hard that when you die you'll still be feeling the fucking pain in your grave." He said pointing his index finger in Silvers face.

I quickly jumped out of my chair and grabbed ahold of Shadows arm.
"Shadow relax, I can handle myself." I said while dragging him back to his chair.
"I'll make you choke on your fucking words if you ever raise your voice to her again. Do you understand me?" Shadow growled before sitting back down.

"I'm sorry for speaking to you like that y/n. It's just my home is at stake here." The hedgehog said while lowering his gaze.
"I understand Silver but we must not talk to one another like that, it won't help us any."
Silver nodded his head and proceeded to eat his dinner.

Everyone finished dinner silently as the tension in the room was thick after Shadow threatened Silver.
I didn't like seeing him be so violent but it was nice to have someone care that much.

"Shadow? Can i talk to you for a minute, Alone?"

"Ohh is this what i think it is?" Sonic cooed.
I rolled my eyes at him and punched him in the chest.
"Fuck off you blue rat." I joked.

Shadow followed me outside to the porch as i asked. He placed a hand on my thigh moving closer to me.
"Is everything alright?" He asked.

I placed my own hand over top of his and smiled.
"Everything is more then alright i just needed to confess something."
I knew my face was turning red as i made eye contact with him. I couldn't help but blush, He is so handsome.

"I guess i just want to say thank you. Thank you for protecting me and believing in me."

Shadow smiled at me as he rubbed my thigh with his thumb.
"You're such an angel y/n, you truly deserve the best."

I placed my head on Shadow's shoulder and nuzzled in closer to him. He was starting to feel like home. A feeling i haven't felt other then when i moved in with all my friends.

Shadow slowly lifted my chin forcing me to look at him.
"You're so beautiful." He whispered softly.

"Thank you Shadow." I said while blushing hard.

Shadow grabbed the bottom of my chin lightly bringing me closer to his lips. I wanted this so bad.
I wanted to feel the excitement in my stomach again.

The mood was perfect. The sunset that was around us with the birds still chirping softly. The light breeze causing the trees to sway ever so lightly. I could stay like this, forever.

Shadow gently placed his lips on mine as he pulled my body closer to him.
His lips felt so soft against my own.
I wrapped my arms around his neck as his hands made his way to my waist.
His hands all over my body was so electrifying.

Shadow ran his tongue across my bottom lip before deepening the kiss.
I wanted to make him work for it.
Shadow's hands found my thighs again and he gave them a light pinch forcing my mouth open.
He gently swirled his tongue around my own as he continued gripping my thighs.
I found myself holding the back of his neck tightly as we both pulled away.
Our breathing was heavy and i could feel his chest rising on my other hand.

"You're coming with me." He said while scooping me up in his arms.

Shadow brought me into my bedroom and instantly pushed me up against the wall. Our bodies meshed together as he kissed my neck.
He kissed my neck so delicately as he lifted one of my legs up bringing me closer to him.

"God you're so beautiful."

"Shut up and kiss me." I cooed.

Shadow pressed his lips against mine once again as he lifted me up into his arms, feeling his warm body against mine as he laid me down. He went back to kissing my neck but this time there was passion. He bit my neck gently while sucking on my sweet spot.
I let a tiny noise escape my lips before Shadow covered my mouth.
"Shh. We can't have the others hear you love~" He whispered in my ear.

Hearing Shadow call me love created so many butterflies in my stomach. I wanted more of this.
Shadow began trailing down my stomach letting his tongue graze against my skin lightly. It sent a shiver down my spine feeling his tongue on my body.

"Now that's all you get y/n, maybe if you behave yourself tomorrow i'll reward you." Shadow cooed as he towered over my body.

"You're such a tease."

" Oh this is only the beginning y/n." He said before placing a soft kiss on my lips.

"Now get some sleep, We have planning to do tomorrow." He said while laying on his back beside me.

I crawled towards him and laid my head on his chest.
Shadow made me feel unexplainable things.
He made me want to do better for myself.
He encouraged me to be myself and fight for what i love.
I had heard so many terrible things about him but none of them were true.
He was just misunderstood.
He was truly an angel.
