POV Lexa

I can't help but be intrigued by the younger Griffin. She is beautiful, the way her face is chiseled. Just her natural beauty is captivating. I can tell she is strong and stubborn. It seems she has a poor relationship with Clarke and from my observations she gets ignored. Clarke didn't even notice when she walked in. How could you not, all eyes were on her. But she didn't notice herself, probably so use to being ignored she figures no one cares. Well, all but Octavia it seems. I'm slightly jealous of their relationship, Octavia gets to know her, really see her. But i know nothing is going on because she is with Lincoln so maybe I have a chance? What am I saying? Love is weakness... Right? I don't know anymore, Clarke has taught me a lot about how it's strength and I think I'm beginning to understand. The first time I laid eyes on Thea... My breath was taken from me. Her eyes are so blue. Deep blue unlike Clarke's sky-blue eyes. Her's is like the deepest ocean dark and mysterious. You can get lost in her eyes. Her hair is darker than Clarke's, almost dirty in a way. She seems to be the opposite of her sister, but also the same in ways. She's a fighter and I have not had the privilege of seeing her. I'm excited to though tomorrow. All throughout dinner my eyes found her, like I was trying to memorize her. She caught me a few times which caused me to look away in embarrassment. I don't know what is happening to me but I want to find out. I like this feeling, it's the same as when I was with Costia... But also so different. When dinner was done I was disappointed when she left. I was also angry that Clarke would treat her like she does. She seems so sweet, kindhearted, but also sassy which makes me smile. She has witty comebacks and I just know her mouth will get her into trouble. I want to find out what trouble it can get into... Ok Lexa, that's enough of that!

I walked back to my room and got ready for bed, but before I could get into it there's a knock on my door. "Come in" I call, and the door opens to reveal Clarke. "Are you seriously going to indulge my sister and her games?" She asks making me furrow my brows. "What games is that?" I ask curiously. "She is no fighter Lexa. You are wasting your time with her. She only will cause trouble and be an inconvenience." She says making my face harden. "Why don't you like her? What has she done to you?" I ask stepping towards her. She stutters and looks away from me. "I... I don't know what you're talking about. She's my sister... I know her." She says seeming to gain back her confidence at the end. I hum and tilt my head. "I trust Indra and her judgement. If she says she was potentially then she does. I will soon find out." I say my voice giving no room for arguments. She sighs and nods walking out but stops turning her head at the door. "You'll see I'm right. She will just bring you problems" she says and walks out. "I clench my jaw and fists not liking what Clarke said. I know I have only been in the girls presents a few times but from what I've seen and heard I can't help but want to get to know her more. Maybe even love her...

The next day after eating and getting ready Gustus met me outside my room. He was going to come with me, like always, to the fighting pits. Clarke met us by the elevator and we took it down. Once out of the tower we made our way through the lively capital. Everyone was up and walking around. I always love coming out onto the streets, seeing my people and interacting with them. Many gave me food to try and gifts. I talked to a few and once we arrived at the training grounds I went to the throne that had been set up for me. I took a seat, Gustus standing next to me and Clarke finding a seat near my other side. The stands filled slightly with people intrigued and wanting to see Skaikru fighting... Or getting beat. There's still a little riddle between the two at times but for the most part everyone is excepting finally... Well not Titus but whatever. I see a group of warriors come out Indra in front of them. My eyes scan them finding Thea and my eyes widen a bit. She looks like one of us, she looks really good. Her hair braided in a beautiful way, her clothing dark and fit to her body, and the war pain on her face... She was absolutely gorgeous. Her bow and quiver rested on her body and she had a few daggers that I could see. I didn't really register they were stood before me and Titus was talking until clapping rung out snapping me out of my thoughts. I watched them walk to the outer edge and take their weapons out. Indra nodded her head and Octavia and a warrior stepping into the middle and fought. The fight was impressive, Octavia has grown a lot from the last time I've seen her fight. She ended up winning pinning the warrior down, Lincoln went next and then a few other warriors. I wasn't too focused as I want to see Thea. After what seems like forever Thea walks into the center her bow in her hands. I see Octavia mouth something to her and Indra nodding her head, a small smile on her face. I straighten up a bit and put my full attention on her. In one quick movement she notches her bow and fires it into the target all the way at the end of the field. My eyes widen a bit as Even my most seasoned warriors can't fire that quickly and far and hit a bullseye. Then she sweeps her body around as a warrior charge her. Just watching her move is mesmerizing. Her footing is impeccable and elegant. She uses swift motions and is light on her feet. She traps the head of the warrior in her bow and snaps the sting back causing him to yelp and fall to the ground. I gasp in awe of what I'm watching. Then two more charge her and she tosses her bow taking out both her daggers. She is able to disarm and take down both of them quickly and before she can set Octavia and Lincoln come at her. They fight and she gets knocked down making me worry but then Lincoln falls and she swings her body around Octavia making her fall over Lincon. Her standing above them Octavia's sword to their heads. I am seriously shocked but then Indra comes out of nowhere knocking her down and placing her sword on her throat. But Thea smirks and nods down making Indra smirk at her. I look and see she has an arrow to Indra's gut making me gasp even more. Indra nods and they all get back up and smile at each other hugging. "That was Impressive" I hear Gustus mumble from beside me, just as captivated as I. "Of course, she's like this" I hear Clarke grumble making me furrow my brows. We get up and head down to the pit where all the warriors clean up and Indra, Octavia, Lincon and Thea stand in the middle waiting for us. "What did you think heda?" Indra asks as we stop in front of them. "Impressive. Who taught you to fight Thea?" I ask her. "One of the guards on the ark. When I was locked up, I kept getting picked on and beat up for being a Griffen... Privileged" She huffs in disgust glaring at Clarke. "One guard took pity on me and would come in my cell every day to train me. He showed me many types of fighting styles. Then Lincoln helped Tavia and I. Then Indra saw something in me." She says smiling at Indra who looks proud. "You are indeed special" I say, and her eyes widen and her face shows confusion which breaks my heart. "Would you like to join Trikru? My army here in Polis. I would like for you to be under Indra and close to me" I offer, and her eyes get bigger, and she looks at Octavia. "The offer is for you as well Octavia" I say, and her eyes go wide, and she smiles at Thea. "You want her?" Clarke says making me groan internally, I did forget she was here. "Yes, she is better than most my warriors. She would be my top pick in those I would fight beside." I say and see her eyes glisten a bit confusing me. "She isn't worth the trouble Lexa" Clarke argues and I turn to her. "Your people have made a grave mistake throwing both of these fine warriors away. I would be honored to call them one of us. Your people clearly don't respect them... Your own sister. Why do you care Clarke?" I grit out causing her eyes to widen and she stutters not being able to respond. I turn back to the two and look at them expectantly. "What do you say?" I ask and they both smile. 'It would be our honor heda to fight for you" Thea says bowing her head as does Octavia. I smile and shake my head. "Lexa" I say and she smiles and nods.

POV Thea

I can't believe it! I finally have somewhere that respects me for me! And I get to stay with Octavia. After Lexa finalized us becomes Trikru we got permeant tents and I finally feel free. Clarke seemed upset when she left, but I could care less at this point. The past few weeks have been amazing, and I have grown closer to Lexa as she came to train with me when she was free. Octavia has mainly been staying with Lincon, so I was on my own most of the time exploring Polis when I wasn't training. One afternoon I was walking through the streets and Gustus came up to me and told me Lexa wanted to see me. We walked to her throne room where he left us alone making me wonder what was happening. "Commander?" I ask confused. She smiles lightly walking up to me. "Lexa, Thea" she says making me nod slightly still confused. "I would like to put you on my person guard. I want you close to me." She says making me furrow my brows. "You can still train with Indra and Octavia, but I would like to train with you as well. I want you to go where I do." She says and I nod slowly. "Why me? I am not as good as you guard now Lexa." I say and she shakes her head stepping closer. "I'm sorry I am bad at this" she says chewing her lip making me even more confused. "I... I like you, Thea. I want to keep you close to me. I have enjoyed the time we have spent together and want that more. I know you are capable warrior which is why I want you" she says making me gape at her. "You want... me?" I ask. no one ever wants me... "I want you" she says not inches away from my face. I suck in a breath and look at her plump pink lips. My eyes move to her deep green eyes seeing hers move to my lips and back up. "Are you sure... What about Clarke?" I ask unsure why she would want me over her. "I don't want Clarke. I want you, Thea. It's always been you. I've been captivated by you." She whispers looking into my eyes. I gaze back not seeing any lies, so I don't think and act. I crash my lips onto hers, pulling her by her hips flush against me. Her hands wrap around my neck as she kisses back with just as much passion. When we pull way, both out of breath, our eyes meet and a smile forms on both our faces. "I've been wanting to do that for a while" she says brushes her thumb over my lips making me smile more and kiss her again softer this time. We pull back and rest our foreheads against each other. "I'll be a part of your guard" I whisper and her eyes light up. "Good, because I already got you a room next to mine" she says sheepishly making me laugh. "I can't believe you want me" I mumble, and she takes my face in between her hands. "I. Want. You" She says. punctuating each word with a kiss to my lips making me smile. "I want you too, Leksa" I say making her smile and kiss me again. Yup, this is home. A place where people love and respect me. Where Lexa is. She wants me.
