This story will be set during Bucky Barnes's time in Romania, where he meets a bartender named Alexis, and they begin their journey through the aftermath of the events of Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
Bucky struggles to find his place in the world after the fall of Hydra, battling his inner demon as The Winter Soldier. He stumbles into a bar, trying to get out of his head when a persistent bartender comes over and makes conversation with him.
Alexis is fresh out of a nasty breakup after her ex-fiancé is caught cheating on her. All she wants is to find a balance between work and life, but her ex won't leave her alone, and her nightmares keep her up at night.
