"Damn, this girl has a strong head on her shoulders." She thought to herself. Kazu knew what Mei was saying was true. Life is about taking risks. The only way to know if you made the wrong decision, is to give it a chance and try.

"I see. I guess we'll have to find out." She whispered, almost inaudibly.

It was strange, the feelings that were swirling in Kazu's mind. For once, the omega felt as though the other path down the road didn't seem so dark. What if she mated with Aizawa? Was she really going to allow the fear of losing him stop her from enjoying the small moments that could happen?

When her father died so suddenly, her omega dad barely had time to react or cope with the loss. He refused help from anyone but her, and Kazu wondered if things would have been different if he had reached out to the resources that were provided?

A soft yawn could be heard from the other room, and Kazu stiffened at realizing that Eri must have been awake. "I better get her back home and ready for school," she tells the young student who picked up both mugs of coffee.

"It was nice talking to you Ms. Kazu, it's nice to know I'm not alone around here," Mei says warmly as she follows the older woman out of the kitchen.

"Same here, and thanks for the pep talk," Kazu offers her a smile and Mei returns it brightly.

"Anytime, oh! And by the way," Mei stops and looks out over her class that was beginning to stir awake. "For what it's worth, Mr. Aizawa has been pretty lenient since you've been around. I see him smiling more too."

Kazu's face heats up dramatically and she pressed her palm against her cheek to hide her feelings. "R-really? Oh um, I guess not having to stress about Eri has helped him drastically," she tries to cover it up, but Mei could only chuckle.

"Mmhmm, sure," Mei smirks before her eyes landed on a young boy that was rubbing his eyes in the corner of the common area. Kazu's eyes followed her gaze till they fell on the red haired boy.

"Is that him?" She whispers and Mei's face brightens into a warm blush.

"Oh no! Um, Bakugo is currently studying abroad. He'll be back in a few months. Kirishima is just our best friend. He gets grumpy if he goes too long without coffee," She chuckles nonchalantly.

Kazu nodded before her eyes fell on the little silver haired girl who was sitting up and looking around in confusion. "Hey sweet girl, did you sleep okay?" Kazu whispers to her as she kneeled down beside her.

Eri blinked a few times before her vision focused on the brown haired woman. "Ms. Kazu!" She exclaimed, jumping up and throwing her hands around her neck.

The class began to awaken as they saw the nanny hug their favorite little girl.

A green haired boy who had been asleep a few spots away, stretches before glancing in their direction. "Oh! Miss? If I had known you were coming I would have woken her up," he sweet voice panics and Kazu waved him off.

"No worries, I wanted to make sure she got enough sleep. Thank you for watching her for us," Kazu tells him.

The boy smiled, crawling over to them and giving Eri a small touch on the shoulder. "Anytime. Eri is always welcomed here! I don't think we've officially met, but I'm Izuku Midoriya."

Midoriya. That name sounded very familiar in Kazu's head, and she realized that this boy had made national news a few times.

"Well Midoriya, it was nice meeting you. I'm going to take her back now," Kazu leans down and lifts Eri up while grabbing her sleeping bag.
