"What would I have done if you were not there?" Shaira said unconsciously remembering all the moments Diaz stood up by him.

The alone question was enough for Diaz to see how mature Shaira had become. She was so grown up that she recounts all the past moments, analyse it or maybe overthink it and conjecture her theory to give responses according to it. Diaz sighed and took Shaira hand in this.

"You would have been as beautiful and smart as you are today maybe even more. You are everything because of yourself -not me or Daniel or mom, dad."

Shaira smiled with teary eyes. She never knew that Diaz think of her like that but would she? That's the question she did not want to ask to herself.

"I am really sorry Shaira. If I would have been a little more careful you would not have drank it. You would not be in this state. " Diaz finally said the words that was in his heart. His eyes lowered. Never  would have someone  saw Diaz looking down. The handsome lawyer was full of wisdom and had never bowed to anyone. Shaira sighed.

"Is he seriously overthinking about that?"

"The person who should be blamed is me, bubbs. I was the one who drink it even when Aunt Vanessa strictly told me which one is for me. So stop blaming yourself." Shaira said. Her voice was much louder than before. She could not bear the fact that Diaz was blaming himself.

Diaz smiled looking at her. She surely have matured.

"But if you are so guilty buy me a big box of chocolates!" Shaira said with a cheshire smile showing off her dimples.

Diaz looked shocked but laughed. Maybe not so much mature, huh?

"Shacks! You woke up! " Daniel said dropping his bag on the doorstep and running towards Shaira and literally landing on her.

"Daniel! Get off, you are heavy." Shaira said trying to push away the block.

"You Dumbass, why would you drink that? Can you be more careful about that? I thought I lost you! " Daniel said hysterically crying over Shaira shoulder.

Shaira sighed and patted his back. Daniel was not a emotional guy but the way he is crying he was very well shaken.

"I am sorry. I will be more careful next time." Shaira said to Daniel.

"You better be."

Daniel was happy. He was happy that he did not loose something more precious than his life.

Shaira was in the car. Everyone even Mr. Aestus and Maximus came to see her.  Aunt Vanessa was crying hysterically with Uncle Michael barely controlling his tears.

She was sharing the car with Maximus as Dexton needed to attend some work. Lawrence family was ruthlessly turned down when they asked to take Shaira with them because no matter how close they were to Shaira but Mr. Aestus was her guardian.

Shaira sighed. The one odd thing she could not understand how and why she ate meat. The moment was blur in her head. The last thing she remembered was being lost in her thoughts. She did not want to think that but maybe her wandering mind was responsible for that.

Her moment of realization was broken as  she heard a ping.

"Are you ok? "

Shaira eyes furrowed. The number was unknown. She hurriedly typed.

"Who are you?"

"I am hurt cub."

Shaira eyes widen. She could not remember when she gave Sebestian her no. She abruptly put the phone down on her lap before she took it again in her hand.

"I am okay now."

She typed. Shaira could not understand why her heart beat go haywire whenever  Sebestian came to her mind. She always feel anxiety crawling in her veins but that all seem to be rushed down just by him.

"I am coming to meet you." Sebestian typed. The only thing which kept him going straight away in the hospital was Shaira herself.

He didnot want to overwelm her in front of her brothers which he seemed to hate more after 'the conversation' with Shaira.

Shaira eyes widen as soon as she saw the text. Wait is he talking about Venisestine estate?

Oh gosh! No.

"No." Shaira typed hurridly. The little moment of nervousness was not gone unnoticed by the other person sitting in the car.

Maximus was not the guy who would mendle in anyone business, be it even his brothers. He admit to himself that the things he had done to a little girl was not qualified to be called as a man. But he also knew admitting to those mistake is more painful for him. The care which was started as an act was growing on him. That's for sure.

"May I know who is on the phone? " Maximus asked looking at Shaira from the mirror.  He was observing her for past five minutes as the ray of emotion he had seen on Shaira's face was most emotions he had ever seen on her face at one time.

Shaira eyes snapped towards Maximus who was looking at her intently.

"Noone!"

Shaira said abruptly bobbing is headin negative. She cleared her throat and put her phone down and prayed to God.

"Please God, Don't let Sebestian find Venidestine estate"

Thankyou so much for your encouragement and understanding. Yesterday was a very hectic day plus my birthday too!!

I am officially 20 from today onwards!!!

I love you guys so much. We have reached around 95k on our book. I am so happy.

Some spill beats for next chapter- Who wants to have some insight of Alkov?? Or some spiteful fight between Diaz and Dexton?
