You know your life's hit a low when you're even at war with peace,
Trying to claw your way out of a coffin six feet under,
Trying to save every other soul trapped in purgatory when you can't even save yourself,
Searching for a life with a meaning when all that you seem to find is reasons to leave,
You're trying to better yourself for those around you but you become so numb and defenceless,
You can play the part and be the perfect actor until it all becomes too much,
You realise life is hard to live when you even hate yourself,
You've lost the person that you used to know and now they're nothing but a mere shadow mocking your weakness,
You're yourself but you've lost the heart and soul that makes you feel alive,
So would it be better to live or to die?
