Realization is so much harder than acceptance,
That you won't be there to open the door, next time we come home.
That you won't smile that 100 watt smile and laugh at our silly jokes.
That you won't be there to guide and help us out of this heart-breaking mess.
That all the love and gratitude we had for you , will be left unexpressed.
That you won't answer my call or reply to my text ,
that even if we wait for you at the gate, you won't come back .
