- Chapter 16: It's Over -

"I'm always safe dad" I said then pout

"Yeah of course you are, does the fight with the dark elves come to mind" He said firmly

"That was one fight! If you didn't get stabbed then i wouldn't have jumped in to save your ass" I said crossing my arms

"Stop that Loki, this isn't the time for you two to start your who's always starts trouble arguments. Kara my dear come here and give us a hug before we go" Grandma said softly

"Hurry little one the guards are waiting for us" Grandpa said opening his arms

Without a second thought i jump off Demetri's lap and run as fast as i can into grandpa's chest wanting this last hug to last a life time but i know it won't since he has to go and start Edward's punishment. Grandpa passes me over to grandma who hugs me very tightly like she used to do all those years ago before i left and it brought me a comfort that everything will be okay now. After a few minutes she let's me go only for me to be picked up and thrown into the air by my one and only uncle Thor who has a big smile on his face but sadness in his eyes. I know he is smiling because he has missed throwing me around like a rag doll and i know he has sadness in his eyes because he is leaving me again.

Once my feet are safely back on the ground i hug uncle Thor as tightly as i can not wanting him to be upset anymore because i know we will see each other again at somepoint in time. When i pull away uncle Thor walks over to where grandma, grandpa and dad are waiting then all four of then walk out the front door to stand with the guards. All i can do is watch with tears rolling down my cheeks as the bifrost comes back down and takes my family away infront of my eyes, seeing them leave is always the hardest for me.

"They will be back soon little frost" Nat said coming over to hug me

"Just think that now all this is over you and Demetri can have that much needed time alone without everyone breathing down your neck" Tont said sitting down next to Demetri

"But what about you guys, your still here" I said teasingly

"I brought a cottage near by that's big enough for the three of us for the time being, well till Loki get's back then we will have to leave" Tony said shrugging his shoulders

"Does that mean Wanda can cook me my favourite dish of hers so Demetri can try it?" I asked looking at Wanda with leading eyed

"I can never say no to you sister, Demetri get ready to eat the best thing you have ever eaten" She said looking at Demetri

"There won't be much to compare it too" Demetri said without thinking

"Babe-"

"What do you mean nothing to compare?" Nat asked curiously

"Oh boy, you've done it now babe" I said covering my face with my hands

"I'm not sure that i can tell you" Demetri said looking over at the volturi kings who i forget were even here aswell as the Cullen's

"You can tell them seeing as they can be trusted but you will have to do it alone since we need to go back to volterra" Aro said firmly

"But what Demetri tells you mustn't leave the room, you can't tell anyone else about this" Marcus said just as firmly

"We understand" Nat, Wanda and Tony said in unison

"Kara, if there is anymore problems with our kind let us know immediately and we will deal with it quickly" Caius said surprisingly softly

"I will but only is dad hasn't delt with it first" I said amusingly

"Demetri keep her safe" Aro said then in a blink of an eye the volturi members left aswell as the Cullen's except Jasper and Alice
