something wasn't right.

when three days had passed by, the harassment and attacking began once again. it seemed whatever there punishment was had ended, so my suffering was once more back on track. and this time, they had a load more rocks then they did last time. but, that wasn't the thing that got me confused. what made my head go spinning and my heart twisting was how the protagonist was there with his sympathetic face and caring hands. he was there to comfort me. he was there to heal me. he was there to save me.

and it was so puzzling as to how. how he knew i would be injured every morning. and how he knew just the right way to coax me into letting me help him. screw cohen's feelings for the protagonist!

so now here i was for the third time this week, sitting on the cot as i narrowed my eyes in on the main characters crouching figure as he, for the third time this week, grabbed some bandages and cleaning supplies to aid my wounds. i needed to confront him about this because i was starting to think the worst of him. something i didn't think the main character was possible of with his innocent outlook. but even if he was the reason for my injuries in some way, what was the purpose? it didn't benefit him in any the long run, and he was tending to me in the end, so why would he be involved? i was probably overthink.
