[November 31, 2014]

Jamie's internship had been going better than she could have ever thought. She helped out Alyssa in any way she could, and Alyssa was preparing Jamie for taking over fully when she left for her honeymoon in January. Brady had told Jamie that she fit in perfectly- everyone liked her, the kindness and sarcasm she displayed made it seem like she was a Boston native.

Today's practice was to be outside for an hour then film watch, as the snow that had started falling the previous night had reached about 4 inches by the time everyone had gotten to the stadium.

Jamie walked into her office after quickly making some hot chocolate in the break room, but she had noticed that her office was already open. Cautiously pushing her door open, she was both shocked and excited to see Jimmy standing there.

"I'm sorry, Alyssa is sick and I needed to grab ice. Plus you didn't lock your door last night."

"No I definitely did," Jamie said, putting her hot chocolate down. "And you know you're a horrible liar right?"

"Okay you got me," Jimmy said, making the pair laugh. "I did have a question for you."

"Oh?"

"So there's this ice skating rink opening downtown tomorrow and  I was wondering if you wanted to go with me?"

"Jimmy Garoppolo are you asking me out on a date?"

"Does it effect your answer?"

"I'd love to go with you. It's a date." Jamie said, before walking out of her office to grab some extra tape from the storage closet, leaving Jimmy to pump his fists in the air from excitement.

[December 1, 2014]

Belichick gave the entire team and staff the day off. Jimmy texted Jamie the address of the rink and what time they should meet, which worked with Jamie's schedule. The pair was to meet at 6, giving Jamie almost 7 hours to get ready after finishing a midterm for her humanities class. Looking at the weather and seeing the projected high was only to be 39 degrees, Jamie put on a white sweater, light blue ripped jeans, boots, a toque hat, and a flannel jacket that she had stolen from J.J. Keeping her makeup light and airy, with her hair curled and down, she got into her car and drove to the address Jimmy had texted her.

Jimmy met Jamie outside the rink- wearing light-washed grey ripped jeans, a white t-shirt, a blue and red flannel, and Pats hat, all of which hugged his athletic build perfectly- almost too perfectly. He stood there holding two cups of hot chocolate with his trademark smile, and Jamie thought she was looking at a model- not her date.

When Jimmy saw Jamie walk up to him, he couldn't wash a smile on his face, a face that now turned even more red, which he promptly blamed on the cold weather when she asked. He knew she could see right through him, and for once he was truly at a loss for words around her. At Gillette, he had this form of confidence- maybe because he was in his element. When he was in his uniform, he felt untouchable, nothing could touch him. The second he took his pads off, he was nervous and anxious around her. He flirted with and dated many girls in college, but no one made him feel like how Jamie made him feel. But then again, none of the girls from college was as beautiful. Something about her threw him off- wether it was her constant smile, her blatant sarcasm and wit, her giggle that made him melt, or how her eyes twinkled when the light hit them at the perfect angle-every angle. The pair rented their skates and found a spot under a tree to put them on.

"Hey Jamie, I've uh- never skated before."

"Really? Oh it's a blast. I've done it my whole life, I can teach you."
