"I.. don't know." You muttered, "it's a dream i have a lot.. but it never gets so bad. Last time, it was so bad was fresh after my..uh, 'heart transplant,'" you stated and scratched your cheek.

"So a reoccurring dream about the abyss and your sister. Weird." He narrowed his eyes as he opened the door quietly and looked around at the empty ship docked on the coast of Yashinori island.

He gave the island a bitter melancholy look while your eyes focused on the giant snake skeleton. Its silhouette lit up from the lighting and thunder in the distance.

"It smells like rain.." you mumbled and walked over to the railing curiously, "it constantly storming here because of Tartaragami, right?" You asked, and he nodded.

His sudden silence worried you, but if he didn't want to tell you, you weren't going to ask. "The smell of rain is refreshing.." he stated and leaned against the rail beside you, "mhm, though i am absolutely awful in the rain.." You chuckled.

"I get sick so easily in the rain.." you admitted, and he tilted his head, "we'll look into a heavy rain coat for you then," he hummed with a small smile, seeing you ease up a little more. "A raincoat? Can't i just use your hat?" You joked and smiled at him before looking back at the island.

He softened up and reached over to pat your head, and you happily nuzzled into his palm. "I love you, yknow." You hummed and leaned onto his shoulder as he moved his hand to hold your waist.

"I know." He hummed and kissed the side of your head, "i love you too.." he whispered and leaned onto you. The words made you giddy and hyper, wanting to clap excitedly or run around the ship, but for the sake of the mood and atmosphere.. you did your best to remain relaxed.

"Feeling better?" He inquired, and you nodded, "much better," you hummed. "I think i've just been a tad too stressed and tired lately. Maybe my sickness is getting to me." You shrugged, and he narrowed his eyes.

"Is it because of what he did to you?" He inquired, and you glanced over and nodded. "The medicine i take keeps my organs from eroding because of the rift hounds traits," you stated.

"..makes sense." He sighed, "if you had to stop taking it, would you die..?" You thought and shrugged. "I don't know..never gone without it, but Dottore always hurries to get it to me once he knows i'm out." You shrugged.

Scara lowered his head in thought before shaking it, "we'll just have to see, but anyway.. want to go back to bed?" He asked and rubbed your waist. "Yes, please." You smiled and leaned over to kiss his cheek before slipping away.

He huffed and quickly followed, "You don't have to slip away like that." He grumbled as you walked at an arms length from him just to tease him. "If you want me, come and get me." He sighed and shook his head, "How you have energy right now, i don't know." He sighed.

You smiled and opened the door to his office, greeted by a soft and lonely meow as Mochi trotted over and rubbed against your ankle. "You probably would have liked to join us, huh cutie?" You crouched down to pick him up before heading to his room.

Scara followed close behind, and once you were both in his room, he closed the door and wandered back to the bed as you set Mochi down. "Oh, by the way.." You sat down and shuffled over. "Want a message?" You inquired and her gave you an odd look, "a message? Why?"

"I dunno, cuz you seem stressed?" You shrugged, "i think if anyone needs a message, it's you," he stated and shuffled over and sat behind you. "So relax, let me do this," he hummed and rested his hands on his shoulders. "i-..alright, fine," you huffed and tried to loosen up and relax.

He started off gentle and soft, his fingers grazing over your shoulders, and the base of your neck. Identifying sore and tense spots first before he dug his thumbs into your shoulders just enough to make you wince and relax slightly.

Working out knots skillfully, letting his hands and fingers work their magic as he started humming softly to help you relax. Which worked like a charm, by the time he had finished, you were half asleep, and leaning one way too far where you would fall over if he wasn't holding onto you.

"Yeah, you definitely needed that more than me.." he chuckled and pulled you to rest against his chest, setting his chin on top of your head and closing his eyes. "Rest well.." he whispered and listened to your soft breathing, which helped him doze off and then fall asleep.
