"Stop mama! My tummy hurts"
I was having a tickle competition against Ayanna, Kairi and Amaya and I was winning as I should be.
Dave went to grab something from the office real quick that no one he sent could access and Amir wouldn't stop crying until he gave in and let him tag along with him which I was not happy about
Security was heavy around him but that didn't mean I was any less worried about them both
It was Saturday afternoon and we had a flight out of town in a few hours just waiting on Dave and Amir to return. God knows where we going but like I promised him I'm putting my trust in David.
Wellllll heavy on God and David because we need big G more than ever right now.
The kids haven't been to daycare for a few days and we informed Mr. Smith that we'd be on vacation for a few weeks so he wouldn't worry something happened
"Maya, Yanna and KaiKai go get the fuzzy blankets so we can make a fort downstairs before Mir and daddy come home"
I'm supposed to act normal and pretend like I don't even know there's someone watching us every time we pass the front foyer and the family room . I try to play it cool because whatever my baby got planned I need to be on my Ps & Qs
They ran off to the hallway closet grabbing our usual blankets we use for the fort
I walked behind them as they raced downstairs into the family room. I didn't want to have it in here but that's where we usually had it so it was closer to the kitchen as I can cook and watch them
" y'all go ahead and lay down the blankets, mommy gonna call daddy and Mir to hurry they butts up "
"OKAY!"
"Tell daddy he owe me skittles mhm he lost go fish yesterday"
Ayanna mumbled under her breath passing her "cause You cheated"
They began to bicker back and forth while Kairi laughed grabbing pillows
I was calling Dave waiting for the call to be answered when the door bell rang, which automatically confused me because nobody called in from the gate letting me know someone passed through it.
"Steph" I wasn't paying attention enough to answer Dave saying my name
"Girls..." I walked towards the security cameras scratching my head seeing who was at the front door ; I saw no one that's when panic began to set in. I tucked my phone in my pockets
I saw Kane come from wherever he was at and nodded towards the girls and disappeared that quickly out of sight
"Yea mama?" They came running as I bent down towards them kissing their heads whispering "shoo fly."
