11:50 pm was the time.
Which meant 10 minutes were left until a new year. "Oh come on! You have to do it Dray! kiss freaking Harry Potter!" Pansy nudged, "Well, what if I don't want to hm?" He said, but Pansy just nudged him even harder, "Oh come on now! everyone deserves someone to kiss on new years day!"
"Yeah? well what if I don't want to? and how do you know I wanna kiss potter?" "Because I've seen the way you look at him." Pansy stated, simply. "Oh kindly do, fuck off." Pansy rolled her eyes and left to go bother someone else.
11:55 pm.
5 minutes left. Some people at Hogwarts were already getting the fireworks ready. Hell even McGonagall was somewhat smiling.
Draco looked over at how everyone was smiling at each other, or some were already wishing each other a happy new year. He couldn't, wouldn't , stop thinking about Potter. His hair, his face, his lips, everything about him. He couldn't stop. "Were his eyes always so...so....green-y" He muttered.
"Harry.." He whispered. "What?"
"Look at the time. Two minutes left." He informed. " Oh yeah." He replied, awkwardly.
"The time is moving so slow." He said to Harry, "Oh yeah I just noticed that." He muttered, awkwardly, one again.
The clock hit 11:59 pm. Seconds later everyone counted down.
"5!"
"4!"
"3!"
"2!"
And the moment everyone waited for.
"1!"
Draco looked at Harry, but he was reluctant at first but did it anyway.
He pulled him into a soft and gentle kiss right as the fireworks went off, you could say both boys will remember that.
