Chapter 1

Winter has begun, she felt the bone-chilling cold the seconds she stepped outside.

Lisa zipped up her padded jacket all the way to the top end to cover half of her face.

Ding----

The elevator arrived at the 26th floor, she walked in once the door opened.

On the way downstairs, the elevator stopped a couple of time as other residents were coming in one after another. She stretched out her hand and pulled down the brim of her hat, then lowered her eyes to look at her phone screen.

The screen was displaying the official account of 'Ten Thousand Heartbeats' a web series that she filmed last year which got released this year. This was her second leading role, but just like the first one, she still played a foolish but warm-hearted character that's not in the slightest appealing in this drama.

And because of the cliched plot, the drama arrived without creating any spark. However even if it didn't got popular, Lisa still has to stuffer flak from original book fans, saying that her portrayal of the heroine is ridiculous and dumb.

The more she looked at it, she found it both frustrating and funny. It's not like she insisted on acting as such. In fact, she didn't have the means to change it however she wanted.

Lisa let out a sigh and continued to read the comments further.

The last hot comment: ["It seems like Lisa is just playing as herself, a full-blooded silly cute girl"]

After reading this comment, Lisa turned off her phone.

As the screen went black, she looked at her eyes that were reflected on the phone screen. Truth be told, she too cared a lot about her appearance. Her agency said she look too innocent and young, combined with her small round face, her bags, she was precisely standard silly cute image on-screen.

Because of her appearance, no one has contacted her to act beyond the silly cute or white lotus characters.

She was also unwilling to be limited in roles, but with her popularity, she can't afford to choose.

It's already great if she has an opportunity to act.

Just then her phone suddenly vibrated, and the word 'Dad' was popping up on the screen.

Lisa jerked back to her senses and picked up the call. "Hello".

"Lili, you're not forgetting that you have to meet the little son of the Cha family today, are you?"

As soon as the elevator reached the first floor, Lisa walked out and said in a suppressed voice, "You even specifically call to remind me for feat that I'm not going...."

"You tell me"

Lisa said sullenly, "I'm about to head out now".

The person on phone is once again lecturing her, Lisa sighed, feeling somewhat dejected.

Today her father, Kim Soohyun, asked her to meet someone named Cha Eunwoo, Cha enterprise sole heir, a young master who has a myriad of stars surrounding him.

Her meeting with him, to say it in a polite way, is to go get acquainted with a new friend, to put it bluntly, it's a blind date.

She is only twenty-three years old this year. This age is still regarded as young in the entertainment industry, so she was certainly not supposed to talk about marriage at this stage.
