- Jaehyun is a single dad and Taeyong is a Kindergarten teacher in the school where Jaehyun's daughter studies.

It has been months since Jaehyun and Taeyong started going out. They would call it as a date but they haven't done anything that would help level up their relationship, and it's confusing Doyoung on why his friend is so slow on making a move.

"You guys confuse me, what is your relationship with Taeyong? You two kept seeing each other for over a month now but when I asked Taeyong about you two, he said you were special friends, you guys aren't doing anything that is fucked up, right?" A frustrated Doyoung asked Jaehyun while they were in their company cafeteria, getting lined up as they were going to grab their lunch.

"Fucked up? What no! We would never, and yeah we were going out but I feel..." Jaehyun moved away as the line was moving as well, he then grabbed some trays for him and Doyoung and handed it to the latter.

"Feel what?"

"I don't know, scared?"

"Woah, Jung Jaehyun? Scared? You weren't even scared when you immediately decided to take responsibility of your daughter." Doyoung said as he started to scoop some bean porridge,

"Because I want to, the moment Jaehee was left on my doorstep is also the moment that I decided to be a father. It's just that, I'm scared that what if for instance me and Taeyong would become official, and he suddenly realized that I wasn't worth it because I am a single dad."

Doyoung blinked at Jaehyun. He can't believe that his friend has been overthinking these things, yet he can't blame Jaehyun about it. He knows about Jaehyun's struggles, not just about being Jaehee's dad but also on how Jaehyun managed to keep together for himself. It wasn't easy for the younger male but somehow, Doyoung wishes that Jaehyun would be braver and be ready to take risks. For what he can see, both Jaehyun and Taeyong are ready to give it a go.

"You're thinking ahead, Jae. How will you even know what will happen next if you won't even dare to take a step." Doyoung said as he took two juice boxes from the cafeteria fridge.

"Look, if you really like Taeyong and see yourself in him, it's alright to take the risk. I can also tell that Taeyong also shares the same feelings as yours because if he's not then he wouldn't go out on multiple dates with you." Doyoung added to his statement as he put the other juice box on Jaehyun's tray.

"It's not that."

"Then what?"

"I'm scared that it might be too much for Jaehee. I mean sure, Jaehee's favorite teacher is Taeyong but what if the kid can't see Taeyong as the person that her dad likes? What if Jaehee might also think that I might neglect her just because I now have someone else in my life which it would never happen since I equally cherish them both."

Doyoung is beyond surprised upon hearing the truth on what kind of thing that bothers Jaehyun. He must've forgot that before Jaehyun opened his heart again, his love for his daughter is immeasurable.

"Well if that's what concerns you then I suggest you and your daughter should have a heart to heart conversation."

"And what exactly are we gonna talk about? You know that Jaehee is still a kid, what if she doesn't understand?" The face of concern was still visible on Jaehyun's face, Doyoung thought he should step in again at least for the last time. Him being a big push on what is Jaehyun gonna do helps a lot towards his friends problems.
