CHRONICLES Part 4
I kissed him soaking wet in the middle of the pouring rain. Jayver responded to my kisses. He cupped my face as he devour every corner of my lips. His eyes was even closed while tasting mine.
I took advantage to it , habang nandito pa at nararamdaman ko ang anino ni Hunter sa malapit.
Then when I finally heard the roaring of his car. That's when I halted our kiss.
We were both panting and catching our breath.
We stayed quiet then for a while to take a break.
Minutes passed when he decided to broke the silence reigning between us.
"Anong ibig sabihin ng halik nayun." maingat at puno ng kyuryosidad nitong tanong sakin.
Before he could interpret it in other ways. I answered him directly.
"That's my farewell." I eyed him passionately.
He didn't say anything and let me continue my point.
"Jayver , don't listen to your family. Sila ang nagpalaki satin but we're now adults. We have our mind right now. We can already decide by ourselves!"
"So what are you reallly trying to say." the rain calmed down as we continue conversing.
"Go fly abroad , contiue your passion there being as a pilot. I know that's your ultimate dream Jayver. Free yourself from this fixed marriage."
"I don't want to. Avarie , mahal kita-
"But I don't Jayver. And b-besides I'm pregnant. Hunter is the father. I w-will marry him , kaya kahit lumipad ka o hindi. I will live my life here to the fullest with a happy family ,while you are regretting your decision for not leaving and aiming your dream!" I resorted lying to him.
That's the only way I could convince him. Even though I didn't meant those words and just fabricated it.
I'm sure that's enough for him to open his eyes already.
"So , wala na talaga kong laban sa kaniya." he said hopelessly.
I lied again.
For my two beloved bestfriends.
For their dreams I became selfless.
One thing I know for sure.
They will achieve their own dreams and I'll be there to congratulate them someday, while the three of us hugging tightly with each other.
