Chapter 14- Christmas Surprise Pt.4

"I heard that!" Princeton said. I laughed.

"I like Disney, too." I smiled as he sat on my bed.

"Really? What's your favorite show?" Princeton asked as I got my suitcase.

"Wizards of Waverly Place and all the old shows." I answered with a smile.

"Do you really have to leave?" He asked.

"Yes I do." I answered and started putting clothes in the suitcase. Princeton stretched out on my bed. It was silent for a few minutes.

"I want to meet your dad." Princeton broke the silence. I dropped the shirt I was folding and stared at him.

"Why?" I asked, stunned. No guy has ever wanted to meet my dad before.

"Do you not want me to meet your father?" He asked.

"No. I mean. Yes, I do, but why?" I stuttered.

"Because you're my girlfriend and I want your father and your mother to know that I'm serious about you and our relationship. I know I'm not gonna be here for you physically when you need me, but I will be here spiritually and you can call me anytime. I want your parents to know that no matter where I go and who I meet, I will only think of you and worry about the next time I'll get to come to New Orleans to see you." Princeton said as he held my hands and looked deeply into my eyes. He rubbed my hands as he spoke. I teared up.

No boy has ever said anything like that to me. I sniffled a few times and leaned my head on his shoulder.

"Okay. I'll tell my dad you want to meet him. You should meet my mom, too. We fell asleep before she got home last night." I dried my tears.

"Alright. Should we go to your mom now?" He asked.

"Yes." I smiled and pulled him out of my room. Just as I was coming out of the door, my mom appeared at the door.

"Hey Ma!" I smiled.

"Hey Artemis. Everyone, but this young man has introduced themselves." Wendy said. In my head I call her Wendy, but aloud I call her Ma, Momma, Mother, etc.

"Hello Miss Wendy. I'm Jacob Perez, but I like to go by Prince or Princeton." Princeton shook Wendy's hand.

"Hello Jacob." Wendy nodded. I cleared my throat as an awkward moment started.

"Ma, Princeton is my boyfriend." I said. She raised her eyebrow.

"Isn't he three years older?" She asked.

"Yes ma'am. I am three years older than Artemis." Princeton nodded.

"And don't you travel a lot? How would we know you wouldn't cheat on Artemis?" Wendy asked.

"Miss Wendy, I really like Artemis. I really do. I would never do anything to hurt her. I know I'm older and I know I'll be traveling with a lot of girls around me, but I do know the only thing on my mind will be Artemis. She's all I thought about for the last month. I know she will stay on my mind when I travel." Princeton said confindently.

"Alright. Have fun telling Chris all of that." Wendy said and went into her room.

"Chris? I thought your dad's name was Walter?" Princeton said in confusion.

"His nickname is Chris. I never understood know how they got Chris out of the name Walter Dale Hayes." I shrugged and walked back into my room. Princeton closed the door behind him.

"Why don't you have his last name?" He asked as he helped me fold clothes. He avoided my panties and bras.

"Because my mom wanted me to have her last name. I'm not complaining. It was her choice. But I know when I make 18, I'll legally make my name Artemis Zoey Hayes Williams. I want his last name. That's my father." I explained.

"So when you get married your name will be Artemis Zoey Hayes Williams-Perez?" He smirked.

"Who said I was going to marry your sorry behind?" I joked.

"I'm wounded." He joked with a smile. We finished packing my things in a few minutes then went to talk with everyone else.

My phone started ringing. Everyone sang to This Christmas.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Hey babygirl." My dad, Walter Hayes, said.

"Hey Daddy!" I smiled. I'm such a Daddy's Girl.

"Hey Daddy!" Juno, Isis, Brittany, and Jari shouted. Daddy laughed.

"Hey babies. What's going on? Are you and Uno packed?" He asked. He calls Juno "Uno" because she's the oldest twin.

"Yeah Daddy. We're packed. Are you on the road?" I asked knowing the answer was, "I'm just walking out the door." He is near where near walking out the door and on his way here.

"I'm just walking out the door. I'll be there soon." He said. And there it is!

"Okay. Daddy, when you get here there's four people who I want you to meet. Especially one of them." I said. "Are Sarayi and Marcia coming?"

Sarayi and Marica are my stepsister and stepmother.

"Sarayi is. Marcia has to work on somethings for the play." Daddy answered.

"Okay, Daddy. See you soon." I said.

"Bye baby. Love you." He said.

"Love you, too." I smiled before hanging up.

"Now I'm nervous." Princeton said as his hands shook.

"You gonna meet Greece's dad?" Ray asked. Princeton nodded.

"If her dad doesn't like me, I might as well dig my grave." Princeton said and took a shaky breathe. I cut my eyes. He is so dramatic.

"Oh my gosh! You are horrible. Since when do you care what people say?" I asked him.

"Since he had to meet your father." Roc laughed.

"Uh...What you laughing for? You gonna have to meet my daddy soon." Isis told Roc.

"Damnit." Roc cussed as Horus laughed.

"Watch your language in my house, boy. I don't care who you is, I'll whip your ass." Wendy said as she passed us to go into the kitchen. Juno and I laughed at Roc.

"Is she serious?" Roc whispered.

"As a heart attack." Brittany smirked.
