Unexpected Savior

"Get the fuck away from my little brother," Kaveion shouts using his super speed to dash up to the Wragler and punch electric shocks into him.

"Haha over here!" Kaveion taunts dashing again socking the Wragler in his jaw.

"Wait no over here!" Kaveion dashes again punching him in the stomach

YAWN "Too slow I'm here now!" Kaveion constantly taunts the Wragler with his dash attack while Ace and Oscar get Martrez to safety.

"I'm okay guys! Really!" Martrez says lowly.

"Stay here!" Oscar demands.

Ace and Oscar run back to where they left Kaveion, to him still holding his own against the beast. They decide to join in the fight and gang up against the Wragler. The Wragler feels his rage burning inside him again, and uses it. He creates a time barrier around him making everything in the radius move slower than him. He watches as Kaveion now run in slow-mo, and socks him in his chest, and kicks him into a wall, he grabs Oscar by his antler and swings him into the air, and grabs Ace by the neck huffing out a cloud of pink smoke causing Ace to feel sick. As the time barrier goes on, Ace's eyes roll back into his head once more. The time barrier is suddenly shattered Ace falls to the ground, Oscar lands on the rooftop, and Kaveion's body hits the wall.

"What?" The Wragler asks.

"How did my barrier--" The Wragler begins to panic he suddenly starts feeling an overwhelming sense of fear.

"Now I think that's quite enough."An unfamiliar voice says from the darkness of the alley.

"Who the hell are you?" The young Wragler says with a shaky voice. The only thing that could be seen is the flash of a blue eye from the newcomer. Screams from the younger Wragler rang out, and a blast of blue light emits from the alley. Martrez paces back and forth wanting to go help his brothers, but also obey their wishing of his staying put. His worry gets the best of him and he goes back into to ally.

"Guys," he asks. No response.

"Guys, you okay?" Martrez asks waking deeper into the ally.

Suddenly a big gust of wind blows past him everything is blown back from it except one thing. something particular, strange even. Everything was blown away except a single blue feather. Martrez examines it, it has a blue glowy aura to it. he puts it in his pocket and goes into the main alleyway to see all his brothers and the other Wragler hurt and unconscious. He walks past the Wragler and tries to help and wake up his brothers. None of them would wake up, so Martrez gathers them all up, and carries them back home. Kaveion and Oscar on both his shoulder and Ace curled up in his tail. He walks beaten and bloody but still pushes forward for his family.

Why did he follow me? Why couldn't he just stay in England? Why can't he just let me be happy why--

"Ace? I can tell you're awake so don't even try to pretend." Martrez says weakly.

"Mmm my...Everything hurts." Ace groans rolling over on his side.

"Yeah I know I healed what I could and patched up the rest," Martrez says handing him a cup of oolong tea.

"Oh yeah? Where are the others." Ace says taking small sips.

"Kaveion is eating, and Oscar is still resting," Martrez says taking a seat on the ground in front of the couch.

"Ah, are you okay?" Ace asks eyeing his tailfin

"Yeah, I didn't get as badly injured as you guys did," Martrez says not looking Ace in the eye.

"Are you sure?" Ace says sitting up. Suddenly Ace feels a small but very noticeable shift in his stomach it's enough to make him gag.

"Ace it's clear your not well yourself y'know," Kaveion says walking into the living room and joining the discussion.

"I'm fine just Ives has the ability to poison--" Ace freezes realizing what he just said.

"Ives?" Martrez asks.

"You know him, Ace?" Kaveion asks crossing his arms.

"Yes, he's from England he must've tracked me down just to bring me misery." Ace said laying back on the couch.

"Well, that explains what you were talking about in your sleep," Martrez mutters.

"What now," Ace asks.

"Nothing, so England huh he followed you all the way here." Martrez laughs nervously.

"Yes, he made it his prime duty to ruin everything in my life." Ace said rubbing his temples.

"Why?" Kaveion asks.

"I... don't wanna talk about it," Ace says quietly.

"C'mon dude we tell each other everything," Kaveion says taking a seat next to him.

"guys I--" Ace begins

Bang Bang

"Hey, your guy's rent is due y'know?" A familiar voice says through the door.

"Crap! We forgot about the rent money!" Martrez whisper yells.

"No, we didn't I got enough money for the entire month." Ace said sitting up again.

"Aw, really dude! Sweet!" Kaveion says.

"Yeah, it's right here ill go pay it." Ace says pulling a wad of cash from his back pocket. Ace tucks in his tail and ears and tries to look as human as possible. The moment he comes back Oscar up and sitting with the rest of the gang.

"Um okay, so guys... a little bit of bad news." Ace says nervously.

"Ace please don't tell me." Kaveion groans.

"Well don't panic but we're still $60 short." Ace says.

"$60 that's not horrible but how are we gonna get $60?" Oscar asks. The crew ponders on how to get the money. About an hour goes by and the boys can't come up with anything.

"We gotta think of something soon you know how impatient Wade is," Oscar says.

"I know we just need ti--" Kaveion starts.

Knock Knock Knock Knock Knock Knock

"Fuck look just tell him we need just a bit more time," Kaveion says rubbing his temples. Martrez goes to the door, knowing Wade likes him the most, he goes to see if he can ask Wade to just give them a little more time. He opens the door.

"Hey, Wade look we--" Martrez stops to see the person at the door, isn't Wade instead it's a woman with blue fluffy hair and a warm smile.

"Oh hello there," she says sweetly.
