Eric Mihalik was born in Cleveland,Ohio and is the son of John and Shelly Mihalik. Eric came to Colgate in August of 2010 and started 23 games in his freshman season. Mihalik amassed a 2.92 goals against average and a .903 save percentage as a freshman. Mihalik appeared in 28 for the Hamiltonians and he amassed a 2.88 goals against average and a .898 save percentage. As a junior, Mihalik saw action in 19 games and had a 2.83 goals against average and a .901 save percentage. As a senior, Eric appeared in eleven games and he recorded a 2.43 goals against average and a .917 save percentage and he indirectly led Colgate to back to back ECAC Hockey championship weekends. Majoring in sociology and anthropology, Mihalik graduated in May of 2014. Eric Mihalik wore number twenty-nine for the Raiders over his four years.
