Meanwhile...

Hans was staring at the lady beside him sound asleep. He just got back from Alex's apartment.

Strands of hair were all in the right places, highlighting her small face. Her long lashes added to the seductive aura she manifested even in her sleep.

Her nose, down to her well-sculpted lips mesmerized him even more. This was one of the very few moments he could stare at her face to satisfy his want.

It was Aira.

She was sleeping soundlessly like a child beside him. Thank God for his plan, Aira did not break up with him.

He knows full well that if Aira would have to choose between him and Alex, she would choose Alex without a doubt, so he considered it his life's mission to take good care of Alex and to get on her good side if she wants to keep Aira in her life longer.

Well, he's not sure if she was just joking about the breakup threat but it is better to be safe than sorry.

He had always been a lady's man, he admits that. He never thought that there would come a time that he would think of settling for one woman alone.

But when he got to know her wits and her attitude, he became intrigued by her and later on finally admitted to himself that she loved her.

She was the first woman she had to bribe just to go out with him. He always thought he was handsome but when it comes to her he was just another one silly man.

Their banters started shallow, mostly as managers and the best friends of the two. They shared the same agenda, to have Sage and Alex reconcile.

But as he got to spend more time with her when she became Alex's manager, he slowly developed feelings for her. Not because of her beauty but because of how much she cares for her. She could opt not to become just a manager because of her strong background but because she loves Alex like a sister and wants to protect her, she said yes.

She was a woman of character and innate elegance. And he was just one lucky man because he was chosen by her amidst the long list of suitors she had.

He then closed the gap between them and kissed her on the forehead while her eyes were still shut.

"Babe, I'm back... Sage and Alex were fine. Very fine and very happy."

"Hmmm."

"Are you so tired from work? Or I might have gone overboard last night? I should control it next time. But how can I? Oh, well she can just sleep like this so that I can gaze at her longer."

Hans then moved closer to her face and touched it.

"Babe..."

"Hmmm..."

"I love you, Aira Yoo."

"Oh just shut up and let me sleep more," Aira answered angrily in her raspy voice. She then covered her face with a pillow.

Hans laughed at her reply. He's fully aware that she's never the sweetest to him through words.

He then cuddled into her, even if she's just angry awhile ago, Aira clung closer to him as he wrapped her tightly in his embrace as he closed his eyes to sleep again.

"Thank you, Sage and Alex. Oh and thanks for the pizza too! Everyone's happy." He murmured in his thoughts.

Then an idea popped into his head.

He opened his bedside drawer, took out something, and smiled amusingly while looking at the woman beside him.
