After Corey left the school, I did too. I walked slowly to my house, thinking of what Corey said.

When I got home, I barley spoke to my parents. I guess that they didn't figure anything was wrong.

"I'm going on a walk." I told my parents, then left the house.

I walked around, for about ten minutes, arriving to a familiar house. Knowing that his parents worked late on week days, I knocked on the door.

He answered it, opening the door with a shocked face.

"Uh, Brinleigh?" he whispered.

"Yeah, I thought that I'd stop by." I lightly smiled.

"Um, yeah, come in." he widened the door for me to walk in.

We walked to his living room, and sat down on his couch.

"So, was thinking about what you told me." I told him. He leaned back on the couch.

"Oh, really." it was more of a statement rather than a question.

"Yeah." I said. "And you know, I'm not sure how I feel."

"What do you mean?" he asked.

"I don't know if I like you-" his eyes lit up "-or hate you." then he slumped back down.

"That's not what I wanted to hear." he groaned.

"Do you know why I hate you?"

"Please, enlighten me." he sarcastically said.

"I hate you because every time I see you, I like you even more." I truthfully said. He smiled.

"You know, until you admitted to liking me, I would've never said that I liked you. But as soon as you did, it just clicked." I explained. He nodded.

"So, do your parents know that you're here?" he asked.

"No, I told them I was going on a walk." I laughed, he chuckled.

"Badass alert." he said.

"Obviously, I mean, do you even know me?" I joked.

"Ah yes, Miss. I'm a preachers daughter and do what my parents say. Badass indeed."

"Hey! I can be bad." I laughed.

"I bet you've never said a bad word before."

"Cursing is bad."

"Exactly. My point proven." he said.

"Okay, I've never said I bad word." I admitted.

"Say shit." he instructed. I shook my head.

"Say it."

"No." I wined.

"Do it."

"No I-"

"Do it!" he laughed.

"Okay, jeez." I paused. "Shit." I slowly said.

"No you're officially a badass." I smiled in triumph.

"C'mon." he said, getting up.

"Where are we going?" I asked, following him to the front door.

"I'm taking you out."
