(After the draw lots for their first round opponents each school has one week to prepare before their matches. Gero, Erika and Maho were watching the daily training of their team from the observation platform)
"Looks like everyone is in high spirits!" Maho said
"Yeah..knowing that Bakatora was a Nishizumi gave them a huge boost in morale.." Erika smiled
"Looks like we got worried for nothing..right onii-sama?"
"..."
(Gero wasn't responding because he was in deep thought)
"Onii-sama?"
"Hmm? Oh sorry what was that?"
"What's wrong? Worried about the semi-finals?" Erika asked
"Ohh no..well..yes..but I wasn't thinking about that.."
"What's on your mind?" Maho asked
"I was thinking of finding myself a disciple from the newbies.."
"Disciple?" both Maho and Erika said in unison
"Yeah..you know..someone to pass on the skill set..like how you trained Erika..how Katyusha passed her doctrine to Klara and Nonna..and like how Miho is training Azusa-san.."
"I get your point..but why think about it now?" Erika asked
"It is our last year here so the earlier the better right?"
"Have you already thought of a possible candidate?" Maho asked
"Yeah I do actually.."
"One of the boys?" Erika asked
"Nope! The girl that has the best accuracy out of all of the newbies.."
"Ohh! I know who you mean.." Erika smiled
"Bring her to the Den after practice.."
"Alright onii-sama.."
[The Den - After Practice]
(As you can remember the Den is the training area below the ship that was meant for Gero's special training course. But since he has chosen his team they also train in the den with him but not the hardcore blindfold and no lights kind of training)
*KNOCK *KNOCK
"Come in!"
"Excuse me! I brought her as you requested onii-sama!" Maho said
"Thank you Maho-chan!"
"Welcome back to The Den..Sakuraba-san.." Erika smiled
(The person that Gero has chosen to be his disciple was Sakuraba)
"Thank you Kommandant! Maho-senpai said you wanted to see me?"
"Yes..Bakatora has something to say to you.." Erika said
"Sakuraba-chan..I hate to say this but..we're taking you off as the Jagdtiger's gunner.."
