I walked into the hospital looking around and seeing how busy they were today. I squeezed passed people saying excuse me until I eventually got up to the front desk

"Hey Kasen" The nurse smiled at me

"Wassup"

"She's in room 13 on the postpartum floor" She told me already knowing who I was here for

"Thank you" I nodded going to the elevator

When I made it to the room I walked in seeing my mom holding a baby and my dad sitting down with a nurse taking blood from his arm

"Hey" My mom whispered as I walked to the side of her bed

"You aight?" I asked kissing her cheek and she nodded

"Mmhm. I just need a blood transfusion because I lost a lot of blood but everything's okay she's healthy" She said and I looked down at the baby

"That's good. I could've donated to you"

"You don't need to give me blood imma just take all of daddy's" She said and grinned at him

"I'm all dried out" He said and I chuckled

"I'll be back in about 15 minutes" The nurse told my mom taking his capsules of blood with her

"Okay"

My dad moved his arm around and pulled his sleeve down

"You need to drink some juice papa" My mom told him as he stood up

"Aight" He kissed her before taking the baby from her arms

"Come on daddy's girl" He started rocking her and sat back down

"She quiet" I said and my mom nodded

"Yea she's really quiet it took her a while to cry when she first came out, scared the shit outta me"

"You was a cry baby" My dad teased with his attention still on Ayla rubbing her head with his finger

"You really were doodie" She laughed and I smacked my lips "we used to be up at 4 in the morning crying together because you wouldn't stop" I smiled shaking my head

"You wanna hold her?" My mom ask me and I looked at her. I don't even know how to hold a baby. they so little

"Yea"

"Ion want him to hold her, he might pinch my baby" My dad said and I frowned

"Man gimme my sister" I sat down next to him reaching for her and he sat her in my arms

"Hold her head" He told me

"I got it, I know how to hold her"
