"Whew" My mom breathed heavily holding onto her stomach

"Hm" I handed her the fruit snacks she been asking for

"Thank you baby" She opened them and started eating em. today was her due date. and she was feeling contractions but she claims it's not time to go to the hospital yet, but she screaming every 20 minutes. I just came from school and practice is in like 30 minutes

My dad walked through the door with her bag of food

"You sure youn want me to stay" I asked her

"I'm sure. we're gonna go the the hospital in a hour, I don't want you missing practice" She opened her soul food plate and started eating

"Y'all better call me if she come" I told her picking my practice bag up

"Imma call you and soon as she's out" She said and I nodded kissing her cheek

"Pops i'm leaving!" I yelled out to him

I got in my car and started it up checking the notifications on my other phone that I use to deliver to people

I pulled out my other phone and clicked on Kaleb's contact and putting it on speaker before backing out of the driveway
