"Yes mommy I'm sorry" I say laughing while setting up the living room.

My mom is upset because I went to go get my nails done without her so now she's complaining

"No but how could you mehn that was our owna thing" she says sounding hurt

"I'm sorry I promise I won't ever do it again"

"You better not even think about it seh"

"Ok" I say laughing "but momma I gotta go chiara is coming over so I can do her hair for the party tomorrow"

"Alright make sure you call me before you go to bed so I can pray for you" she says my mom loves praying for me every night before bed she did it when I was younger and she still does it now even if I don't call she sends me a 'prayer text' which I always have to respond 'amen' to.

"Ok I will bye love you"

"Love you baby bye" she says while ending the call.

I go back to setting up my living room because that is where I'm doing Chiara's hair.

After I finish setting up the place I sit and relax waiting for her to get here.

20 minutes pass before I get a phone call. It's chiara... "heyyy girlll" I say

"Heyyy boo I'm here now" she says sounding out of breath

"Girl so why you didn't knock or put the code in or something" I say getting up to go open the door for her

"My hand full sis just open this door please"

I place my phone on the little desk near my door and open the and to my surprise I see chiara holding gifts and food. What surprises me even more is that Zahair is standing next to her holding even more gifts with a huge smile on his face.

I quickly help her by grabbing some stuff "why do y'all have all this stuff??" I question as we all walk towards the dining table "and Zahair what are you doing here??"

"He-"

"I-"
They both start their sentence at the name time but stop

"Zahair bought you all those stuff for God knows what reason" she states while taking off her shoes

I look at zahair for him to explain himself

"she needed me to drop her off formidabile" he says nonchalantly while taking his shoes off and walking towards the coach making himself comfortable.

I walk behind him "ok so what about the gifts though why did you buy them??" I ask in confusion

"I can't buy someone I like gifts" he says while smirking and looking me up and down. I have no idea what he's looking at because all I have on is a lappa and a sports bra

"Zahair" I give him a look "be fr"

"I-" before he could even start his sentence chiara interrupts "as much as I would love for y'all to flirt and all that I still need my hair done babes"

I look at her " you right sis you right" I say walking towards the chair she was sitting in she already made herself comfortable by finding a movie

" your brother be confusing me sometimes"

"You know damn well he want you girl" she whispers "I have a rat tail comb in my hand baby this will go in ya throat" I say and she laughs

As I was about to take her hair out the two plaits she had it in she says " wait hold up" while getting up and running towards the dining room and coming back with the food she brought in.
