"Whatever you say khushi but I know I have made you doubt my love for you. But trust me Khushi it was only because you hurt me and my self-respect." He was trying to make amends. He really was. It's just that he had spent so much time in learning not to fall weak in front of anyone, that doing so for the first time in front of someone made it tough. But he would alright. Because this someone was her, his khushi.

But was she his anymore?

"aapki self-respect is self-respect and what about mine Arnavji?" she asked looking straight in his eyes and the determination he saw there, shook him! He was right, she has given up!

How do you feel when someone strangulates you or holds your neck to stop breathing? You see death in front of you right? that's exactly what Arnav felt when the thought of losing khushi started becoming real. You don't value something until it's a question of your life and death and losing khushi was that for him. He had no doubt he will not survive without her. But only thing he didn't see was he had taken her presence and love for granted.

"KHUSHI! What is all this?" A horrified Arnav asked, to see Prem and Khushi with garlands around their necks, sign of being married, standing hand in hand in front of him

"We are married Mr. Raizada; you stay with your meant nothing." she said and turned, and he reached out to stop her

"NO" he woke up with a jerk, profusely sweating. Nightmare. It was a nightmare.

He looked around to see if Khushi was there. And then he remembered she had slept in Nani's room last night. He looked at bedside table and realized it was 8 am, later than his usual morning time.

Picking his clothes for the day, he decided to take a quick shower and then talk to Khushi.

.

.

When he opened the bathroom door after his bath, he heard her voice. And he was happy to realize that she was back, to their room! Never had he thought that even such a mundane thing will bring him joy!

Wiping his hair, he stepped further in the room. And then realized she was talking with Prem! "Don't worry Premji, I already spoke with advocate Shinde. He said, marriage in this situation is difficult but not impossible. We will just have to wait till official divorce."

And his heartbeat stopped.

It was all over.

She wanted to divorce him.

WHAT. THE. F*CKING. HELL!

NO. NO WAY. OVER HIS DEAD BODY.

And that frustration, defeat gave rise to the only natural reaction he was used to. ANGER!!! OVER PREM, OVER HER and OVER HIMSELF!!!! He wanted to burn the entire world if he could.

"Arnavji, I want to talk to you about something important." she approached him, seemingly nervous and happy and that did it.

"I know what you want to speak about Khushi and my answer is no." he said in an icy cold voice, fisting his fingers tightly.

"What? What do you mean no? If I want to, you can't deny." Khushi too had, had enough now.

"I can and I will. I am NOT going to divorce you at any cost, did you hear that?" he said turning towards her, eyes bloodshot red.

Khushi couldn't believe him. First, he was being totally unreasonable and second, he was accusing of something she didn't even do. JUST for this reason, she felt she should really divorce him!!!
