Chapter 71: Max's crazy ideas and bowser's offer to mike.

-Narration-

Everyone in the throne room all stares at max. Neither of them knew what max had in mind. Whether or not marx did remained to be seen, though max was pretty sure that he read his mind somehow. "Well..i can see that y'all can't exactly set foot in the mushroom kingdom without openin' a can of worms...so..the only thing i can think of, is to have me go over there under the guise of a wandering mercenary" Max says to them. "What the..ARE YOU CRAZY?!" Mike yells at max. Everyone is already looking at max weirdly after his can of worms comment, but this completely caught them off guard. "Max, seriously..you can't expect the mushroom kingdom to be fooled by that..." Ludwig says with a facepalm.

"Bro, i uh..gotta hand it to ya...you're just as crazy as iggy." Roy says with a chuckle. "And what's wrong with that?!" Iggy hissed at roy. "You are aware of how risky this is, correct?" Tyson finally says after being silent for awhile. "Is a mercenary like a secret agent?" Larry asked excitedly but was largely ignored. "It's far too risky, max..." Kamek chimed in, not believing it would even work.

-Lemmy pov-

Um..what's a mercenary..? I've never heard of that before...i don't know what max is even trying to pull...and what's this got to do with a can of worms..?

-Marx pov-

Well, what a unexpected surprise...i figured that he would have an idea but i didn't know he was going to say that.

-Larry pov-

That sounds so awesome! That's gotta mean being sneaky, right? But..can of worms? What the hell is he talking about..?

-Tyson pov-

A bold plan...reckless but bold. How will max accomplish this?

-Narration-

"Son." Bowser says with a stern tone. "As much as i love this plan, how do you expect to do this? You would risk causing both kingdoms going at each others' throats?" Bowser asked him with same stern tone. While the koopalings looked uneasy, and mike looked worried, max remained serious. "Guys, i know that i'm taking a major risk doing this, but right now, i don't think there's any other option and i don't like this any more than you do, but even if they find out, i'll make them realize that i acted on my own. Besides...this is my chance to see the world while dealing with the magishadow and zöhm." Max explains to everyone.

Bowser quickly becomes stunned upon hearing this. He's use to others being intimidated by his sternness or even when he's in a bad mood. Max however, wasn't even flinching and aside from mario not being intimidated, bowser definitely wasn't prepared for it with anyone else.

"Hm..ok, but you can't just waltz over there. They'll think that roy's causing trouble." Mike points out. "Well..why not just create a custom koopatrol mask?" Max suggests. "Oooohhh? In what way?" Iggy asked curiously.

"You could just..i don't know..darth vaderfy the helmet, and design in a way that can be comfortable to wear." Max suggested to iggy.

"Oh my god, your geek is showing..." Roy says after groaning in annoyance. "OHHH! That's perfect!" Iggy says with delight that almost looked demented. "Wow, that..is actually a good idea..." Mike utters, who is stunned by what max just said.

-Ludwig pov-

Ugh, i cannot believe he's suggesting that...still..he is right when he says that there's no other option... "As long as you are able to deal with threat at hand while uncovering the past, then i could care less how you go about it." Kooky says to max. Long before we met max, hearing kooky sound like this would be a nonexistent scenario, but now? It's like he's a different person...

I also, keep forgetting about the fact that his county accent seems to have him say..weird things. At least he and i don't get in each other's faces all the time.
