That whenever your eyes meet
Your breath starts to quicken
And you feel the existence of your heart's beat.
Tell me why?
That every time you hug her
Your arms are wrapped tightly
As though she's your anchor.
Tell me why?
That whenever your hands touch slightly
A deep blush coats your cheeks
Along with a smile formed too quickly.
Tell me why?
That every time you hear her name
You perk up with brightened eyes
And the ember in you turns to a flame.
Tell me why?
That whenever she's not there
You always feel sad and continue to sulk
As you hopelessly stare.
Tell me why?
That every time she looks down with a smile rueful
You simply gaze at her with admiration
Because god is she so beautiful.
Tell me why?
That whenever I question you more
You laugh and say it's funny
Nothing major hundred percent sure.
Tell me why?
That every time you call it a silly liking
Your eyes display all of the emotions
Clearly telling it's that 4-letter feeling.
