Cold, sad and utterly lonely
That's the state of my heart
Not to be dramatic or anything
But it really feels like I'm falling apart.
It's as though I'm descending down
Though my feet are touching the floor
But maybe it's my mind that's saying-
"I don't wanna be here anymore".
I could feel my throat tighten
Over what seemed like a silly notion
It was later when I realised
This was the result of built-up emotion.
There's this weight inside my chest
One that I can't seem to explain
It feels like someone took my heart
And tied it with a big chain.
I listen and read about sadness
Negative thoughts crushing my brain
And can you even blame me for it?
When all I can feel is just pain.

My emotions were so messed up that I wrote this down in 15 mins. This was the only one to let it out.
