Tae's POV

We get to the hotel and Tyla's rapping to G Herbo.

She's feeling better, so now is the time.

I park in the driveway of the hotel that we'll be staying in for a week.

"Tae this is not home," she says looking out of the window.

"I know, trust me,"

"I do. I just don't have clothes to change,"

"You don't have to worry about anything, I've got you covered,"

She nods and I hold her hand.

I'm getting nervous.

"Let's go,".

She gets out of the car and I go out after her.

She waits for me and I walk to her and we walk in the building hand in hand.

....

"This sunset is gorgeous," she says looking at the sky.

We're sitting on the rooftop of the building and my heart is pounding out of my chest.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Okay, I've got this.

"You want a kiss?," she asks me and I look at her.

"Yeah," I say.

She tilts my head back and her lips interlock with mine.

She leaves my lips then peppers my lips with small kisses until I end up smiling.

This feels so good.

She lets go of my neck and sits back in her chair.

We stay quiet for a while and I contemplate on when I should do it.

Fuck it.

"My love, I can't keep this in anymore and I've been waiting for a while to ask you this.

'This is not going to be the cheesy, rom com speech that people in movies usually get because we're not in a movie, we're in real life,"

I take out the box with the ring in it and open it, setting it on the table.

"After dealing with me and my shit for years, would you make me the happiest nigga on earth and marry me?,"

Her hands cover her mouth in surprise.

She looks between my eyes and my hands with the ring in them.

"Yes baby, yes!," she says and I put the ring on her finger.

I stand up to hug her and she jumps on me.

I think fast and hold her thighs as she wraps her legs around me.

We stay like that until she unwraps her legs and we stay in a hug.

"Thank you for choosing me," she says.

"Always my love," I say kissing her forehead.

"Let's eat, please," she says and I smile at her.

I hold her hand and lead her to the dinner table.

The smell of roast potatoes hits my nose and I moan in pleasure.

I sit her down and push her chair in.

"Thank you, daddy long legs," she says and I laugh.

"Of course my little minion,"
