Chapter 5: Atlas on sight

Kaiba's POV

Robyn told me all about the Ironwood's plan. Apparently, there is a hidden war between Ozpin, and someone named Salem. A way to protect Remnant and possibly turn the tide of this war. And the General had a plan to do so and the drive to make it a reality. That matters little to me. I do not care about some stupid war. All I want is my duel with Yugi.

Robyn gave her scroll and it showed me that the plan is to send the strongest team to an abandoned SDC mine in the middle of Solitas and clear out the old mine of Grimm and use the Dust to propel the satellite into the atmosphere.

Sounded simple enough. But the truth was shown to me. Inside the satellite were millions of the Atlesian Knight-200, otherwise known as the "AK-200", were a line of advanced Atlesian android foot soldiers and the successor to the Atlesian Knight-130.

These robots are inside the satellite. They're main purpose is to be launched into the planet's atmosphere and sent to the other kingdoms. It seems to me that Ironwood wanted to have more access or control on the other kingdoms. Looks to me that he's desperate for more dust caves or he wants to take over Remnant.

Seeing the blueprints of the satellite, it reminds me of my old self. When I get to Atlas... I'll remake the satellite for my own purposes.

Robyn also informed me about Ironwood's semblance, mettle, it strengthened his resolve, which allowed him to carry through with his decisions, and helped him hyper-focus on his choices and suppress any feelings of doubt he had beforehand. It was also unable to fully suppress his mental burdens or mounting stress, nor could it grant him true emotional clarity, as was evident by his visibly increasing desperation throughout the invasion of Atlas. At best, it could make him appear calm and collected, even when he was acting otherwise. But that was before I turned on my device.

Ironwood sends his best team to watch over the project and guard it. Ironwood's best soldiers, the Ace Ops, the best of the best. Loyal dogs to Ironwood. What fools. Their loyalty made them follow Ironwood blindly. They think they are the best, but their skill won't save them from me.

"During my time... I figured out that my level of intellect, knowledge, and technology has evolved." Kaiba mutters to himself.

"Sir Kaiba... It seems after you launched your device. James Ironwood has become more paranoid and unstable. He's scrambling to try to finish whatever his project is but that was just putting more pressure on the divide between Mantle and Atlas." A female wolf faunus tells Kaiba.

"It would make sense because Jacques Schnee wants to obtain the seat on the Council. Everyone knows just how horrible the situation would become with that man in power and everyone would be panicking." Robyn says, "With his power and contacts, he was untouchable to most but not for you. Right Kaiba?"

"Tricking everyone in Atlas will be easy. Now here's the plan and what I am gonna do I will hack into the CCT until I gained access to the entire system including the Schnee Mansion's system. From there, the rest of my plan will come into play after I met my contact." Kaiba tells everyone.

"But how do we get up there?" A male asked.

"Robyn, I want to call Ironwood. So he can bring an Atlesian Airship to us." Kaiba said as he looks at Robyn.

"Do you think that plan will work? Convincing Ironwood to send out an Atlesian Airship. He won't fall for it." Robyn replies.

"You really are slow Robyn Hill. I'm counting on the bastard either sending a troop of his robots or his men to come down here. That's when the real fun begins!" Kaiba smiles as he looks above straight at Atlas floating in the sky, "I will make them fall down back to the ground zero."
