Michael's POV
I could not believe what the fuck I just witnessed. Bryn was on the ground, seemingly unconscious. I glanced over at T, who was staring over at Tommy's dead body. I was prepared to jump in front of the bullet if he would've shot at Trevor. After all, I tried to get him killed back in the day, lied to him about my death as well as Brad's status, and fucked his girlfriend despite the circumstances. I owed it to him. But the bullet shot wasn't for Trevor...
I dumbfoundedly looked up and couldn't believe it. There Mrs. Madrazo stood, wielding a small pistol. She slowly lowered it and walked up to Tommy's dead body, giving it a kick.
"Sad fool. Nobody takes true love away. He will pay in his afterlife."
She walked over to Trevor, helping him up, noticing the wound in his leg.
"Did he hurt you, Trevor?"
Trevor shook his head, attempting to speak.
"N-no that was from the h-heist. Bryn patched it up. I-I'm okay Patricia."
She lifted his pant leg and smiled at Bryn's work.
"Why, Trevor, I think you have found the one. Like I said before, keep her. Cherish her. You have a beautiful little family, Trevor."
Trevor remained speechless, tears welling up in his eyes as he gave her a nod of 'thank you.'
She turned to me.
"I heard conflict and rushed to the window. I saw your internal struggle, and your willingness to help a friend in need. You are a good friend, Mikey. But I couldn't let that happen to your family at home either. Continue to be that good friend to Trevor."
"Thank you, Mrs. Madrazo."
I nodded, biting my lower lip, looking down.
"Now, I will call Martin to arrange a clean up. Right now-"
She motioned to Bryn's body, her breathing getting more shallow by the minute."
"She needs medical attention. Rush her to the hospital down the road. I will have Miguel bring Carter there once I make this phone call."
With that she calmly entered the home, and Trevor and I lifted Bryn up, carefully placing her in the back of the van.
"Don't worry peaches, everything will be okay."
Trevor reassured her unconscious body as he got in the driver's seat, attempting to stay calm as he floored it to the hospital.

Bryn's POV
It had been a week since the heist. I had fully gained by strength back. Trevor had been doing all the child care for the past week. We talked out our differences and apologized accordingly. We decided that the past is the past and we would no longer dwell on it, and attempt to control our jealousy of each other. I called Patricia and personally thanked her. Without her, we would've had to say goodbye to Trevor or Michael, or quite possibly both of them. Trevor realized what Mikey's plan was if Tommy would have shot, and finally, fully forgave him for his willingness to let go of his family for an old friend, even though it thankfully didn't come to that. He ended up giving Mikey the island, and split the loot between Franklin, Paige, and Niko for all of their assistance along the way. He threw Lamar some as well for their past dwellings in crime together. Lester's business was finally complete, and we could go on to live our lives as normal.
Michael had the island cleaned up and insisted we come for a final celebration. We all had plans to go our separate ways, with the promise to stay in touch casually. Absolutely no more crime.
We boarded the plane with Carter, Wade, and Ron. The rest of the gang were already there partying it up. Trevor placed his guitar in the seat in front of us. I smiled.
"Whatcha bringing that for, babe?"
Trevor smiled.
"Just a little surprise. You'll see."

"Alright guys, thank you all for coming. My dear friend Trevor here has a song he has been working on and would like to share it with you all. My son Jim will be accompanying him with some guitar and back up vocals. Let's here it, T!
Michael announced.
I smiled, holding Carter in my arms as Trevor entered the small stage, followed by Jimmy.
"I would like to dedicate this song to the past 2 years of my life, in which I met this very amazing girl and rekindled my friendship with my best friend. I also would like to give a shout out to all my friends who have made this possible along the way. In this song I will talk about some struggles I've went through in my past as well, losing two of my best friends along the way. Here goes nothing."
Trevor cleared his throat and began.
(A/N: Song: Smoking Section by Jelly Roll. I have changed a few lyrics to go along with the plot but you guys should give it a listen! :) I'm not going to post the whole song in my story because I'm not sure how the copyright on here is but I will definitely link it.)
"I was talkin' to a girl that I adore dearly the other day
And she told me not to get so distracted fighting the alligators
That I forget to clean the swamp
And it took me a second to think about what she was really sayin'
But she was sayin'
Don't let my problems distract me so much dealin' with them, I forget my mission"
I remember saying that to him before our big heist...and how he reacted. Now I know why he had that funny expression...
"Me and Mike are doing well man, don't worry 'bout us
I bet yo ass up there chillin' probably rollin' it up"
I felt tears began to well up. I know dad's death was as hard on him, if not harder, as it was for me. And here he is, dedicating a song to him. Dad would be proud.
"Hey Bradley S, it's been a minute since I mentioned your name
And every hardship is a blessing and this is the same
It's been way too many years, it doesn't lessen the pain
'Cause your death was a first hand lesson on age
I'm just riding through my own neighborhood reminiscing
The life that I was livin', man was I trippin'
I grew up around sinners all after tryin' to win
People livin' to die, but they was dyin' to live"
He was referencing how he was in the past....when we first met.
Trevor finished up as applause echoed through the small crowd.
I ran up to him as he was coming off the stage. He sat his guitar down, pulling Carter and I into a big hug, kissing both of us on the top of the head.
He pulled away, smiling.
"So uh, was it alright?"
I smiled.
"It was perfect, babe. Dad would be happy."
Trevor chuckled, scratching the back of his neck.
"Yeah, I'm sure your dad didn't anticipate us getting together, but if he's looking down at us right now.."
Trevor looked up into the sky, pointing.
"Yeah, Brad, you hear that, motherfucker!"
This made me chuckle a bit, tearing up.
"And you too ole Lester the molester bro!"
He turned his attention back to me.
"I promise on my life, to protect you and Carter until the very end, to be a better man than I once was. I found myself in you, Brynleigh Rose Snider Philips. And I pinky promise.."
He extended his pinky, and I grabbed it with mine.
"No more crime."
He added.
"No more crime."
I agreed, smiling.
