Being reminded of this, he noticed that he owed Kiana quite a bit. He couldn't help but wonder if he should take it easy on her during their afternoon training.

"I see... Well if there's something you need help with, you could always ask me." Fu Hua said in consideration after seeing his expression.

Hearing her words, Glynne's expression mellowed a bit as a smile formed on his lips. "... As expected of the Class President, reliable as always."

"What do you mean by that?" Fu Hua asked with narrowed eyes.

"Ah, I meant it in a good way." Glynne immediately corrected after noticing what he said seemed to be borderline sarcasm.

"Hmm, perhaps the first order of business is to try to make you learn how to watch your words." Fu Hua commented.

"Please, go easy on me." Glynne said as he couldn't help but laugh bitterly.

After this, the two spend their time with idle chitchat before separating to get ready for morning classes.

"In three days time, this class will go out for an expedition." Himeko suddenly announced as this stirred up the whole class.

"Ah, what a relief... Training all week is getting boring."

"This time, I'll definitely do my best."

"Yeah, it's finally my time to shine!"

It was obvious that most of the class was excited by this event. But amidst that excited crowd was a very confused boy.

"Hey Bronya, what's happening?" Glynne leaned closer to his seatmate and whispered.

The silver-haired girl looked at him for a second before realizing that this was his first time. As such, she decided to explain it to him. "In St. Freya, there are two ways to get good merits. One is through the normal class and written exam and the other is through the practical. The expedition is one example of the latter."

"I see..." Glynne put his hand under his chin as a thought suddenly came to him after hearing Bronya's explanation. "So they made this so that those who often struggle in class would be able to catch up, huh."

"Correct" Bronya nodded her head before glancing at a certain white haired girl. "The reason why everyone is excited for the expedition is because it is a good way to get some merits if you performed well enough."

"Heh... " Glynne seemed to be interested now that he heard about it. In theory, one can graduate by doing the bare minimum in classes but it required one to constantly get high evaluations from expeditions.

"Kuhum!" Himeko cleared her throat as the class quickly quieted down and shifted their attention on her. She then pressed a button from the podium as a huge screen in front turned on to display a scene of an overgrown city ruins.

"The place where the class will go will be in the Mizumi ruins located about a hundred fifty kilometers down south." Himeko said while showing different photos of the location. "As you can see, the city has long been destroyed and now been overgrown by nature. Do be careful about your footing here."

Himeko then paused for a bit to let her students process the new information. Looking around, she could see that most were quite taking in the information seriously. As a teacher, she couldn't help but be satisfied.

"Any questions?" She asked as a student immediately raised her hand. Himeko signaled her to stand up as the student proceeded with her question.

"Ms. Himeko, how strong are the Honkai beasts in there?" The student asked.
