Chapter 2: Dealing with pests

"Why you!" Yang growls as she tries to throw a punch but Kaiba throws her across the library and onto the wall hard. Everyone inside the library looked scared of what happened and how the faker was able to throw the angry punch girl at Beacon.

He didn't feel like summoning any Monsters or his Spells and Traps to fight the easiest weakling among the group.

Kaiba began to walk away. "Everyone here is nothing but pests and weaklings." Kaiba muttered to himself.

"J-Just who the hell do you think you are?!" June asked.

"I am Seto Kaiba. I am no longer the weakling known as Jaune Arc. For too long he suppressed his past memories of his true self but thanks to all of you. He released the door and opens his true self as a Duel King." Kaiba tells them, "And defeating you wouldn't bring me any joy because none of you mean anything to me."

He walks out of the library while everyone stays away from him. His former sis was now frightened that she just witnessed a real power in front of her and not only that it was her former brother. His ex friends were also surprised that their former friend Jaune just turned away like it was nothing. Now they have many questions on their mind on who or what Jaune has become.

The next day

Kaiba was in his dorm ready to leave Beacon for good and good straight to Atlas and take everything over there when suddenly he heard a knock at his door. He closed his bag and walked towards the peep hole to see who it is. It was Ruby Rose and only her.

"Rose... What is it that you want? You lost your mutt?" Kaiba asked her.

"I-I-I just want to talk to you." Ruby told him.

"Not now... I'm busy." Kaiba replies as he's about to close the door but Ruby sticks her foot out.

"Please Jaune." Ruby begged him as her eyes were about to get watery.

"It's Kaiba for the last time!" Kaiba tells her, "You're not going to stop until I let you in are you?"

"Nope." Ruby said as she nodded her head.

Kaiba sighed to himself as he didn't want to deal with anyone right now as he's about to leave but then this happened. "Fine, come in and be quick about it Rose." He tells her.

Ruby walks in and notices Kaiba's new dorm is oddly neat and simple. There were a bunch of books stacked on each other. She then sees a map of Remnant and another map which was a theme park?

"So what is it that you wanna talk about?" Kaiba asked her as he sat down on his chair.

"How do you summon those monsters? Are they really monsters?" Ruby asked him.

"Yes they're really monsters. And they are in a card game called "Duel Monsters" and it's quite popular where I'm originally from." Kaiba told her, "I just modify the game to be more entertaining."

This left Ruby Rose speechless until she could utter the words.

"H-How?" She asked in confusion and amazed.

"I'm from a different world, Rose. I'm originally from a planet called Earth. At a young age, my brother Mokuba and I were orphaned. Our mother died when Mokuba was born, and our father supposedly died in an accident when I was eight. Our relatives used up their inheritance and left them at the city orphanage. We were adopted later by a man called Gozaburo Kaiba." Kaiba tells Ruby.

"What happened to Gozaburo Kaiba?" Ruby asked.

Kaiba didn't answer right away as he thought back to what happened in his Battle City when his Battle Ship went off course to Alcatraz. He hated remembering the past. Especially when it came to Gozaburo Kaiba and his actual biological son Noa.
