The sun was shining brightly as Alec tried to shut out the deafening tone of his alarm. It seemed to pound on his eardrums with a spiked club, but he still wormed away from it attempting to occupy the less interfered with part of his single bed. He failed. Izzy came in.
"What was that noise? It sounds like you have Magnus in here" she looked in surprise at Alec sitting on the floor.
"Izzy, we haven't gone that far. It was just me trying to sleep on the vertical side of the bed." Alec said sleepily "To get away from the alarm" he explained at her surprised expression.
His sister walked out muttering something to do with boys and brain cells.
He was just about to go to the breakfast hall when his phone buzzed loudly. He had eventually blackmailed Jace into changing his text tone back to a nice familiar buzz.
Magnus:
Heyyyyy😘
Alec:
Hi Magnus 🤪
How are you?
Magnus:
👍
U?
Alec:
Missing you! 🥺
Magnus:
😢Same
When can u get away?
Alec:
About four hours
😢
Magnus:
U wanna come for dinner?
I can cook something
Or we can go to a nice Italian place?
Alec:
Sounds good.

I know a nice pasta place
Dress up!
Alec:
Have you seen my wardrobe?

Fine, look like a criminal

Magnus put down his phone and attempted to relax. What was it about this boy that made him trust Alexander? His phone buzzed

Magnus wondered how Izzy managed to see through everything and everyone, but he admired her protective attitude towards her brothers. Back to being a mosquito, he hadn't meant to leave a mark, but he would have to apologise later. Now, he needed clothes.
